Minato is the true Immortal
For those of you who do not know, space and time co-exist according to science. MInato has the ability to move from space to space whenever he wants to in an instant, meaning from Konaha to the Hidden Mist whenever he feels. Considering that space and time is the same thing, this means that Minato also has the ability to move through time from one period in history to another period in history, to the past or future, just as easily as he would be able to teleport back to Konaha from a mission. All Minato has to do is place his seal in a certain area and he will be able to use his space-time jutsu to teleport to that specific location in that specific time period he wants to arrive in. This means that a Minato from the past is able to appear in the manga today. If Obito's jutsu is anything like Minato's then he too is able to travel through time but without the use of any seals.

So is Obito unlike Minato he doesn't need place a seal in a certain area all Obito has to do is use his space time technique.....now that's true immortal.

Re: Minato is the true Immortal
Minato's space time was limited with the seals on the Kunai... That's from where he got his speed and time-travelling.
And he's dead.
But he's immortal through Naruto.

Re: Minato is the true Immortal
So if Minato could travel through time why did he not just travel back before Tobi attacked Kushina and defeat him? Instead of battling him and Kurama at the time he could have went back killed Tobi and stopped the attack from ever happening.

Re: Minato is the true Immortal
Space and time are not the same thing, they're just related. Minato has never shown the ability to travel to the past or future. The teleportation seals move through time, just as everything else does. In the end though, it doesn't matter because he died.

Re: Minato is the true Immortal
In order for you to know this isnt true you would simply have to understand that time traveling does not make you immortal
