hard to believe but true. kakashi and obito had to be moved up from the academy faster as they were in wartime. whereas in kushinas flashback they didnt seem to be at war when she met young minato. if so then cloud trying to kidnap her may have been what actually set it off, leading to nagato's parents deaths.
what im trying to get at is they had to graduate and become chunin faster than minato and naruto. and obitos been fighting and training probably every day since recovering/turning corrupted to get to his level. jiraiya said minato was a rare genius who pretty much learnt things really fast which is why he found himself bored trying to train someone like that. minato also was only hokage for a short time and died sometime in his late 20s IIRC. obito is 35

War and battle makes generations stronger that's why madara and hashirama were so skilled they spent everyday of their lives fighting until they formed a truce of course and formed konoha.

So yes because of war and things kakashi and obito had to take part at a young age and also because minato died young they have even more experience as they have lived longer.

But taken all this into consideration you can see just how much of a genius minato was despite his childhood being more free because of no war and probably only did mission he was still a freaky genius. And when it came to war he was so skilled he could end a battle in a "flash"
