Alot weaker kages would have beat him by now i think. I thought when kabuto said he improved his body, i thought he may have meant given him the rinnegan now im not sure seeming as madara claims to have awoken it shortly before his death

Here we go again with the what if thread. Madara has a rinnegan, EMS, perfect Sussano, Amatersu, arrow, tsukiyomi, gunbai etc etc without his Edo abilities, I doubt even Hashirama can beat him with his rinnegan in the mix now. As back then when they fought, he was without it.

it wouldnt matter in the slightest. he would just have to be more serious. he only uses mokuton and rinnegan against people who arent worthy of perfect susano and ems madara still has that.
