It's not Obito or Zetsu using mokuton

From the way I see it, Zetsu is like a suit which can allow the wearer to use mokuton abilities if they have the chakra to do so, basically gives the wearer the kekkai genkai the 1st had, and it probably helps that Obito is quite literally half Uchiha and half Senju now. This evidence by Zetsu being amazed Obito used the branch mokuton tech and impaled the hell out of that mist anbu.

i think your right, but i think obito can use mukton by himself too cause half his body is zetsu

Ummm,,no, he is only using Spiral Zetsu body cuz his own body physically wasnt strong enough, he has a huge amount of Hashirama DNA in him, half his body, so these Mokuton, are his pwn. If what u were saying is true, then Spiral Zetsu wouldnt have been so surprised.

He is using Zetsu's body to use mokuton, because his own body can only do mokuton from the right arm.

If you read the manga Zetsu says "you can already use the mokuton branch technique?"

Meaning that he was shocked he possessed the chakra to use Zetsu's "power suit" ( let's call it what it is) so effectively with the first use.

If you read the manga Zetsu says "you can already use the mokuton branch technique?"

I think he was shocked that he was already able to use it seeing as how he was never trained in using Mokuton AT ALL. Like I said, he's only using Zetsu in place of his own body, which was already explained as to why.

no its obito the suit is definately helping but he can do it once his body is healed half his body is zetsu so its the same thing, there is no difference between the zetsu suit and half of obito's body the only thing is his body is too weak at the moment

....Oh lord, Obito was fused with ALOT of Hashirama DNA. EVERY PERSON who has hashi DNA even a bit of it, is capable of using Mokuton in some way ( Yamato, Danzou, Edo Madara and Obito) so with HASHI DNA inside him, Obito is able to use the CELLS an use Mokuton. http://www.mangapanda.com/naruto/605/7
Notice how the rods, and thorns are only sticking out of ONE side of him, and he was only using ONE arm to use the Mokuton. If it was the Spiral Zetsu doing it, why would the thorns only come from ONE area. THE SAME AREA WHERE THE ZETSU BODY WAS PLACED
My opinion on the rod thing..I think they appear when Uchiha blood is somehow involv This is just my view on it. But as for Spiral Zetsu being a armor to use Senju DNA through, my question is, why is that Yamato could use Mokuton by having some cells in him, when Obito is practically HALF Hashi and would need a zetsu to use Mokuton, when Uchiha and senju blood mixes so well?

This, as you can see the branches protrude OUT of the Zetsu armor.
Also, Obito's right side is also a clone btw so he's capable of Mokuton basically.
