Kakashi can't even stand without Guy and Guy is no match for Obito. 8th Gate can't do anything if he can't hit Obito. It was 3v1 before and they barely managed to tear his clothing and that was with Kakashi using Kamui like 5 times. Naruto didn't stand a chance as he was going to get sucked into human path and Guy was going to get sucked up during one of the last fights until Naruto intervened.
