the reason kakashi didn't use kamui against itachi before shippuuden is that Kishi, hadn't decided to give kakashi a MS.. and hadn't decided what the special jutsu would be... :D:D

this is the same reason, why obito won't kill kakashi wright now, and why he would not take his sharingan back...

because before shippuuden Kishi hadn't planned the story to take this path.. I mean did you think that like 10 years ago, Kishi had these chapters ready.. and figured out??

Ok, i have a slight theory based on what people have said here, i am sure i will be shot down by others, but what if Rin had Isobu (3 tails) sealed within her? I know that the Fourth Mizukage had it sealed in him, but maybe somthing happened and is why they mist ninja are attacking kakashi and rin? as Tsunde did state the beast disapeared after a great war, maybe it was this war and it disapeared from her death, as has been stated before, a tail beast dies with the host, but reapears later, maybe its another reason Tobi was assigned or wanted, to capture that beast? I know its a sketchy theory, but it could be true with how things have been going at the moment.

3/5 Silly chapter.. Ok now Obito awakens MS, uses Mokuton and goes on a rampage. It's v easy in Naruto now for ppl to power up in seconds. And what the heck is that last page? In Hell? Wtf does dat mean anyway?

Lotta bloodshed, kakashi and obito awakened thier eyes at the same time....obito appears to grasp mokuton rather quickly....it wouldnt hurt to show more talking but oh well :shrug:

Pretty dang good chapter.
So there is something more to Rin than we've been led to believe, not a spy but perhaps something to do with a technique or bloodline she is part of, maybe Senju?
Obito is terrifying, that much is for certain.

I guess in the way of a terribly traumatic event 2T Sharingan can go straight to MS.
And even when an eye is transferred to another person they still achieve their transformations at the same time.

actually no...... it has not been stated that when a sharingan is transplanted that both awaken the MS at the same time you are confused the only reason they awakened MS at the same is that they both saw some one very close to them die there for feeling massive grief they awakened it at the same time because they were both there at the same time

I couldn't tell if kakashi killed rin from being under a genjutsu or out of duty to protect something, I was hoping kishi would explain. Also I agree, kakashi couldn't handle such a rapid sharingun advancement so he took a nap.
As far as obito I agree with B00m, it appears gedo temporarily had controll. Maybe that was a result of uchia, senjiu DNA + an emotional state...?
Great chapter! Only open end is death of rin explanation and origin of mist Abby with leaf headbands.

Loved the chapter, and enraged because it ended so soon :mad:

Rin must have done something so that Kakashi had to kill her :shrug:... I mean, there's no way in hell he'd kill Rin lightly, since he promised to protect her... Besides he was crying all the time (). My guess is that she was either a spy (:flaw, or he actually didn't believe they were getting out of there alive (:sy. I kind of suspect Madara had something to do with Rin's death too :?, but that is a teory that has like 20% probability of proving true, but I'll wait to see :zonder:.

It was damn.. "Horrible" might be the word, watching Obito doing that in a pointless effort to save what's left of Rin's memory, it's like he's fighting his away believing that if he makes it in time, he'll be able to save her. Which wouldn't happen anyway. That's what I get from it. It's like those slow-motion fights for him, a damned nightmare.

I really hope the next chapter actually explains why Kakashi had to do it...

In the last page he regains consciousness and he is covered in blood, he sees butchered corpses laying about; and Rin laying dead so he thinks he is in hell. I think that the reason Kishi decided to reveal Kakashi's MS was to affirm again that both Obito and kakashi's eye are somehow connected, and that what happened is what really happened, no tricks, and probably had nothing to do with Madara's will.

-they have 2 tailed beast coming from their village, the six and the three tails.
just a thought, i think the idea of capturing tailed beast came from the hidden mist, yagura being the fourth mizukage and a host to the six tails originally has this plan, and he was later controlled by tobi. to top it all, i think Rin is a host to a tailed beast.

Same thoughts here, my Filipino friend. I think Rin is a host or a would-be host. Maybe considered as the next in line to Kushina? I think that's why Tobi has a hatred for Minato/Kushina/Naruto. But I could be wrong.

I have a feeling Rin was either a traitor (Using a hidden mist jutsu to do it so well) or a poor victim of some hidden mist jutsu that she couldn't fight but would have completely wrecked Konoha. That would explain why Kakashi killed her and why the mist want her body back. On the subject of MS he probably didn't use it because it was too much chakra and as it just did it would knock him out in like 2 seconds.
