yeah.. I guess that showing us how obito became so powerful, and that the shinobi surrounding kakashi and rin were from konoha not the hidden mist, and that's why tobi has a grudge against Konoha, and why he didn't go back to the village..

I extended this thought with one of my own if you scroll up and care to looksie. But i think there really could be something in this

Apologies but I was reading from page 1. Didn't see it right away. This was also in my mind (i.e. something to do with the tailed-beasts) but let's see. I started Naruto from Shippudden and sometimes going back and forth to pre-shippudden to know the story.

For those who want to debunk this possibility, can you provide the chapters where I can read? Will appreciate it a lot.

The reason kakashi didnt use it befor if you recall is that just using the sharigan spends his stamina and it renders him incapasitaded for a week so its understandable for him to faint the moment it awaken and even longer to master it and if remember when he first fought dedira it took awhile to use it and see how much it took out of him and i think rin might have been a spy or an informant and with obito its because he is of an uchiha blood line that he can use it at will the MS thats why he was able to do it freely.

look closely and you'll see a little triangle in the bottom left corner of the symbol..


Konoha's symbol is the only one that has that triangle..

I quite like this chapter, 4/5. It showed how Kakashi and Obito acquired MS and how severe an impact Rin's death had on Obito. For the people saying Obito mastered mokuton and MS as soon as he awakened it: it just seemed like he was fighting purely on instinct after he let his rage take over. He doesn't seem to purposefully activate Kamui and this page (http://img.mangastream.com/m/49/4572...423a956e37.png) shows to me that he didn't master mokuton as it doesn't seem like a very controlled way of using it.

ROFL @ all the people who thought that Rin and Kakashi were Zetsu clones, thought that Madara was doing all this on purpose, or thought that this was all a genjutsu.

The result doesn't justify that a speculation was bad. The people's reasons to believe Kakashi was a clone or it was all a Genjutsu were understandable.

i just thought of something . this is my theory

we hear the mist call themselves as the blood mist village . so obito didnt control the mizukage , it was madara who send the ninja mist to attack rin and kakashi , take her hostage and then killer , but that didnt go as planed , but it work for madara in the end .

but i think its clear now that madara was the one who controll the mizukage . thoughts ?

rin was going to blow up like those 'splosions we saw as obito approached the battle area. kakashi killed her as a mercy killing. the anbu were going to retrieve rin's body cuz it had recoverable evidence of the technique.

I love how it turns out Madara chose Obito. Like from his deathbead he chose Obito. I love this guy.

Everything just had to be planned. And it turns out the whole story of Naruto is just one giant sprawling mass conspiracy.

It all makes sense now. I don't know if you thought about it, but I have. It is clear that Obito does not blame Kakashi entirely for killing Rin. Which is why he slaughtered all the Mist ninja and not Kakashi. A long time ago people used to wonder why Tobi/Obito took control of Yagura (the Kage of the Mist and Jinchuriki) and created chaos within the Mist village. Remember when Zabuza said he wanted to assisnate the Kage of thr Mist because of the internal chaos that was going on? I believe Obito took over Yagura and created turmoil within the Mist village to get back at them for the death of Rin. Do you guys agree? Disagree?

I will like to bring this up: Mandara had one eyes in his right sucket while obito has one eye in his left sucket. The person who controlled the mizukage showed just one sharingan in a right sucket.

Which makes me to believe Mandara is behind everything that is happening in the manga at the point.

Good theory, but I don't think so. Remember... Madara is hooked up to the statue. He has to have pretty long cords to get all the way to the Mist village, plus he can't do much with his single sharingan. I am pretty sure Konohamaru could take out the old Madara with one attack -_-. Madra even stated that he cannot disconnect from the statue or he would die. I already posted a theory a couple posts below, but here is what I thought:

ALSO if you go the Narutopedia and look at Yagura in the background section you will see a tall figure shrouded in darkness stadning begind Yagura: http://images.wikia.com/naruto/image...26_shadow_.png

That implies that the person had to travel to the Mist village to control Yagura. Madara can't travel far, remember... that statue? But Obito could. And Obito DID have long hair at some points in the manga. And he also activated his Mangekyo during that fight with the Mist, so I think it makes more sense.

Answers:

1) Kakashi blacked out right after the Mangekyo was activated, so either he didn't remember (clearly since he got credit for the slaughtering of the Mist-nins and earned his name) OR he simply passes out every time he tried to use it and had to wait so long so he could build up enough stamina to use the thing.

2) We now know where Rin stands. They said that they couldn't let her body go to the enemy and considering Rin should have been classified as one of the enemies they shouldn't have had any reason to want her body (back) unless she for some reason held a ton of info.. And since she was supposed to be just a medical ninja, well it speaks for itself. The only reason why they want her body is because she was a spy that gathered a TON of info that would be critical to attacking the Leaf.

3) We also know why Madara chose Obito. Some how he knew Obito would be a great asset, but would also be the key to his Moon plan seeing how Obito's Mangekyo is the gateway into the realm where the moon is *hint hint* And since Obito has no idea that she was a spy (you can thank either brainwashing or the fact that he has the mentality of Naruto and can't look at the spaces between the lines)
