On the whole i thought this was pretty cool. Good action and distinctive drawings (yes they're cool enough to get their own mention).
I don't like how Obito unlocks his MS one second and the next second has it mastered (that kind of precise teleportation should take a long time to master). How does he even know what it does?

the same way sasuke could use susano and amatrasu .

i think when an uchiha unlock his MS , he can completely feel it and use it , exactly like when use your eyes to see at your birth .
you dont need to research about it to understand it's power , you just know it .

He just didn't want to or need to or be able to or know he could use it...

Maybe he just chose not to use it because it wasn't a smart move. Or maybe he wasn't confident in his ability to use it effectively, or using it put too much strain on himself at the time and that he thought it wouldn't be smart to put so much strain into using a technique that might not even work on Itachi. there are so many factors we do not yet know about kakashi. He might have also thought since itachi was uchiha that his technique wouldn't work, who knows. :shrug:

I know everyone here saw Obito training 2 manga's ago. Was I the only one to see Obito create a tree out of his hand? I'll say he trained at least 2 years in that cave. Obito had no prior experience when his sharringan originally activated, but he won that fight with ease. I'll say that the same thing happened in 605 with Obito.

What do you all think why both awakened the MS? Is the reason that both have eyes linked and Rin was very close to both. As a result when Kakashi killed Rin the MS was awakened ... I am not sure though but this can be the only reason...

So there is something more to Rin than we've been led to believe, not a spy but perhaps something to do with a technique or bloodline she is part of, maybe Senju?
Obito is terrifying, that much is for certain.

I guess in the way of a terribly traumatic event 2T Sharingan can go straight to MS.
And even when an eye is transferred to another person they still achieve their transformations at the same time.

the 2t sharingan evolved into an 3t and then right away to MS but it wasnt from 2t to MS directly.

Ok, so after re-reading the chapter I got to this conclusion.

Rin wasn't a mist ninja nor a spy. If she would've been the adressing would've been other. What I presume is that she would've had some special jutsu that was going to benefit the mist ninjas. They didn't adressed about Rin as one of theirs, just as "the woman".
Another assumption is that through her they wanted to get the Sharingan. Everyone hunted these doujutsus. See Byakugan matter. They stole once, the Byakugan, why not go for the Sharingan as well. And somehow through her get to Kakashi. This is the matter it has to be explained. But I am certain Rin's not a spy.

And the hell thing, is Obito's dimension. That's why he doesn't know at the beginning where he is. He's getting to know his own power of the Mangekyo, the Kamui.

From here on, we'll have to wait for Kishi to explain.

It could be:
1-He didn't remember activating it due to post-traumatic stress, just like Sasuke didin't remember his Sharingan.
2-Didn't use due the strain in his chackra reserves (he barely could maintain his sharingan)

My guess: probably 2, he acknowledged Itachi as having a Mangekyo, something not everyone reckognize.

'Test Subjects' said Zetsu when he warned Obito. They were probably testing some kind of Ninjutsu or drug and didn't want to leave the corpse behind so the other vilages didn't find out. It could also be that Rin is of some weird lineage, and possess some DNA characteristics that would be of help (unisightly).

It could have been just a momentaneous thing or not. We haven't seen him using almost any jutsu besides Kamui style transmigrassion, and we know that he is very strong even beside that, he is a powerfull Katon user (he used Uchihas Fire Encampment, a A-Class technique, and his signature Katon jutsu), and has vast reserves of Chackra, and as seen today, clearly can use Mokuton rather well. He is probably a hands-on genious like Naruto, just getting stuff when he uses it (and it would stick to the always going analogy Kakashi-Sasuke-Orochimaru-Nagato..., Obito-Naruto-Jiraya-Yahiko...,Rin-Sakura-Tsunade-Konan...). This means he could be in the league of Madara (weaker in ninjutsu and taijutsu alone, but with GREAT evasion and health).

Also, did anyone noticed that they said something like, 'Behold the bloody mist' (i'm focusing on the bloody mist thing). This means the 4th Mizukage was still alive and being controlled by *Tobi*. This could mean two things:

1-Madara could use Kotoamatsukami, due to it being the only jutsu that we know so far, that could 'maintain active' for long periods of time without interference from the user, invalidating that it was a jutsu specific to Shisui's eye;
2- Another impersonification of *Tobi* exists. I think we're getting in a place where Tobi is more of an ideal than of a person, an impersonification of hatred for the rooten shinobi world.

Sasuke awakened his eyes as a little kid, but he passed out because of the hell he experianced and it's the same thing with Kakashi. I don't think it's more physical strain so much as it was mental and emotional strain. When the body or mind experiances something it's unable to handle the natural response is to shut down and so with both of them it's likely they never remembered awakening their eyes.
