Who is the true avenger, Obito or Sasuke?

Both Obito and Sasuke sounds like true avengers to me it's just their method are completely different.

It should also had a Third Option called Both.

It has to be Sasuke. He is trying to get revenge for the entire clan because the Leaf brass forced his brother into the position. Obito has no reason to avenge the clan. He's only getting revenge for himself. What's 1 to 100?

Obito isn't an avenger but the way he went rampant because of Rin was way exceptional, Sasuke is nowhere near Obito now....(since the MS)

alright il make this as simple as i can, obito was there like you said to take the nine tails (eye moon plan requirement) but it was obvious that he could have taken the kyuubi and took off (when minato saved kushina and teleported), but what did he do he attacked konoha and TRIED to take minato out as HIS PERSONAL REVENGE (he did something that had nothing to do with the eye moon plan) minato was never in his way, it was obvious that obito was there to kill minato. the attacking konoha and minato was his revenge (minato was the one trully capable of preventing any harm to happen to rin). also we still dont know what happene there with kakashi

What you just typed here isnt fact. Obito didnt attack Minato out of vengence. LITERALLY, Minato stood in his way! He used an infant naruto as hostage to gain access to kushina. if he wanted revenge he would have just taken Naruto. loosing your son is the ultimate revenge. and he would have just killed Kakashi right there and Rin's death would have been "avenged"

Sasuke is the Avenger here, at least until we know more about Obito, his reason as it stands-is a little weak compared to Sasuke's reasons.

not a fair comparison. Sasuke's first time out with the MS was againt the 5 Kages and not a group of mist ninjas.....Geez I can't believe Im defending Sasuke here. Dont let this latest chapter and Obito's awsome handling of his MS cloud your thinking. Obito is a Tyrant not an Avenger. he as seen beyond the vengance to a bigger twisted picture.

Sasuke is avenging his clan.

Obito is trying to create a world without peace or war. Where everyone will be in a genjutsu based on their desires (if that movie is based off of this).


When Itachi killed the Uchiha clan(with Tobi's help), he didn't want Sasuke to know the truth since he didn't want him to turn on Konoha. Unfortunately, Itachi's plan failed and Sasuke learnt the truth. Just like Sasuke's life was more precious than Konoha to Itachi, Itachi and the Uchiha's life were more precious than Konoha to Sasuke. Hence why Sasuke wants to avenge them all.

In my opinion, when Rin died, Obito began to see what Madara meant. Not everything goes as planned or as you wish. Through Rin's death, he was able to see that this life itself was hell. The pain a loved one's death causes is experienced by many people so instead of having everyone experience this hell, he wants to place everyone in a genjutsu where life will be the way they want it to be. Happiness based on one's wishes. Hence why when Kakashi asked, "Aren't you going to blame me?" Obito just said,"It's pointless to blame this useless reality". Something like that.


So well, i'll have to go with Sasuke being the true avenger. Obito isn't necessarily avenging anyone. More or less, if Project Tsuki no Me occurs, then the idea of revenge won't actually exist in reality anymore.

sasuke is going to destroy leaf when he should destroy madara for betraying the clan. and the clans downfall to begin with.


and obito well same madara probly sent those ninjas and setup rin knowing obito could help him with his sharingan. so both fighting for messed up caused.


sasuke will never get his clan back and cant figure out his clan isnt extinct reproduce and revive ur clan dont kill leaf then that will kill ur whole clan. the whole emo thing hasnt worked for him and he gaining power to advenge his family. ok advenge his family but then go against the only person truly cared his brother. yeh he like i dont care brother i am still going to kill everything you loved brother to avenge my clan. O.O ok to advenge his clan destroy everthing his brother loved his only true clan member that cared for him. instead avenging his clan sounds like defiling his clans beliefs and honor.


and obito is messed up. making everyone in illusion wont bring true peace cause everyone be in comas basicly in fake life. there be no free will and whos say madara wont twist it to make him king or god of world. this obito being backstabbed in back someway to live a life with no free will and no true reason. his goal makes everything he fought for worthless. without free will all he did wouldnt have ment anything.
