reaper death sealed half the nine tails chakra in himself and the other half in naruto, along with his and kushinas remaining chakra into naruto. reaper death seal takes the life of the person who summons the reaper. after all that transpired and the nine tails realized that he was about to be sealed in an infant he tried to claw naruto but minato and kushina got in the way of the claw. died as a result of the reaper death seal and getting a claw put inside of him. the end
