In each parts of these two manga, these skills were said to be legendary and only appear in a few.
however as both stories, almost all characters who are explored of Uchiha/Saiyan Heritage go on to have this greater skill.
Point is, I feel as if The mangekyou is no longer what it was.
Also, Rin was probably a spy, broken or betrayed by the eaf because they couldn't save obito.
