Obito's 'Ninja Way'

Did Obito abandon his 'ninja way' when he adopted the Tobi alias? His ninja way was:

"In the world of ninja, those who don't follow the rules are scum, that's true. But, those who abandon their friends are worse than scum." - Kakashi quoting Obito

If Obito truly believed this, why did he seem proud when Sasuke stabbed Karin to get to Danzou? Obito seemed to like this, and when Sasuke attacked Sakura with his Chidori. This seemed to go completely against Obito's 'Ninja Way'.

I know people are going to say that he has more important things to be concerned with and he has evil intentions now, but look at Hanzo. Hanzo stuck by what he said and praised Mifune for doing the same, even sparing his life. He was a leader in times of war, who had a much bigger mission, but he still kept to his 'ninja way.'

Not everyone's the same bro. When it comes to personality and emotions, the concept of comparison is out of the question.

I think Obito's mind was crushed.and.warped by Rin's death and.manipulation by Madara.

Welllllllllllllllllllllllllll officially he never abandoned his friends, he tried to save Deidara when he fought Sasuke but Deidara blew himself up... Thats the only friend I remember that he had when he adopted he's Tobi alias.

Yes I believe that the Rin event coupled with Madara's influence resulted in Obito becoming what he is today.

Karin is not sasuke's friend. He is using her.
And tobi doesnt know the releationship between sasuke and sakura. As far as tobi knows sasuke hates sakura.
Tobi has always shown loyalty to zetsu, whichs shows he still has his ninja way.

Well, right after that he did say:
"If that's not being a true shinobi... then I'll crush that idea of a shinobi!" Basically, seeing Kakashi kill Rin confirmed the worst to him - that the world really was twisted beyond any moral sense. He no longer cares about the current world. To him, Infinite Tsukuyomi is everything.

He not evil. No one who is evil says there evil. He may feel that what he's doing is for the benefit of mankind and in his eyes is good. No one the truly evil.
