Edo Plot Hole?

So we know that Madara got out of the Kabuto's control by knowing the correct hand seals, but if that were the case, why couldn't Tobirama (THE CREATOR OF THE JUTSU) or Hashirama (Assuming Tobirama would share with him the jutsu) get out of Oro's control when they fought the 3rd Hokage? Can somebody explain this to me?

It's because Tobirama and Hashirama had 0 control over their bodies at the time, Oro controlled them completely. When Itachi made kabuto release it all the edos had control for a moment (that's how Dan did his jutsu) and Madara used his moment to break free

Yeah but Nidaime and Shodaime had their will/consciousness long enough to casually have a conversation with Sandaime.

The best explanation is simply that the author hadn't thought/implemented this plot device yet. Just like he didn't think he was going to make Hashirama the god that he is now, and just like he didn't know he was going to grant Tobirama space/time ninjutsu (see Minato's fight with Tobi).

This! Kabuto allowed madara to be "himself", Oru said "**** that, you will be my B!tch" basically by taking away there will to do anything.

Kabuto can do the same thing but wanted to see what Madara was capable of.

As others have stated, tobirama/hashirama didn't have a very long period of lucidity before their consciousness was erased by Oro. Kabuto, knowing Madara would fight to his best potential if his will was left in tact, took his chances and released him onto the battlefield. It's also possible Madara, via his white zetsu, became aware of the improvements Oro made to the jutsu in the years after tobirama/hashirama had died and took advantage of these in his revived state. (In previous conversations between reincarnated shinobi, they seem to have awareness of everything throughout their lives and right up to their deaths.)

I don't think Tobirama would've released himself and Hashirama anyway because Hashirama says that they must fight Hiruzen due to being summoned. I don't think they planned to escape even if they could, I speculate that could be because they had faith Hiruzen would be able to win against them since he knows their fighting styles, jutsus, etc.

um you guys are forgeting that in order for madara to do what he's doing (rinni, complete susanoo, flower style) madara would have to have control not kabuuto, which is what kabuto wanted to see the powers of the sage of the six paths....kabuto is not a dumbass... he intended madara would break the seal to mess up his plan .... watch you'll see kabuto was just following oro's command, oro is fully aware of moons eye plan ... and has his own plan set up.

There's not a plothole.. hashirama and tobirama didn't have control of their body except their mouth, they could talk but not move on their own..

And even if they had the opportunity they would only do it if they could undo their edo tensei, because they have respect for life.
