yeah hank you I thought I was he only one who noticed that 1st- it could black roots growing which could mean the beginnning of black zetsu or 2nd- it could be what you get when you mix senju with uchiha eyes almost like nagato who created black chakra rods as well; and if they are chakra rods then maybe madara was controlling him

I'm not quite sure myself, there are several things that didn't make sense in this chapter. For example, oh I don't know, Obito crying out of a non-existing eye in the last page.

Of course, until the next couple chapters come out I can't be sure but I think it comes with the mixture of Senju and Uchiha DNA, seeing as they look like the Rinnegan Bars.

Yeah I saw those yesterday. I guess it makes since. His body with uchiha and senju blood make him suitable to control the Gedu Maza. Which also means that he can control the Rinengan

its simple. zetsu is made out of the gedo mazo. gedo mazo makes the chacra rods. he put em in nagato's back. and now i provided obito with the rods trough zetsu
