doesnt seems logic! where did the bacteria come from? so the rocks came from nowhere right? yea so the eyes were created by theirself and the nose ...etc
I believe the god created that and he created us for a reason I mean we cant just live and die for nothing

Re: Do you believe in God? If so why? And If not, reasons? :)
I believe that there has to be something out there that had created us, because where did we come from anyways. There are scientific explainations like, when people die they have found out that you lose a certain amount of weight, its is always the same. Which could mean that we actually do have souls. There are so many explainations but, the real question is where the hell did we come from. I doubt that we were apes that evolved into humans. The other thing is is that out of nowhere there was a big bang. Something that was created by nothing. There had be be a hand in that some how, right? Personally I think there is someone controling it all, created it all. I used to be LDS but I don't believe in going to church every single day and obeying there commandments, but there is one thing that I do believe in and that there is a higher being.

I believe in God. People used to believe in God back in the days and the world was moving forward. Now, people don't believe, they are afraid that when they die they will be gone forever, so the results are what they are. The progress slowed down dramatically.

I believe in God, but I don't really believe in religion.
There is not a definite answer as to how the Universe was created, meaning that anyone's guess is as logical as another one.
I believe it was God. Others believe in the Big Bang, even though it's theoretically impossible by scientific laws.
Like I said, it's impossible to prove anything either way.

Re: Do you believe in God? If so why? And If not, reasons? :)
Since something cannot come from nothing, and self creation is absurd, then the universe being created or brought into existence by an uncaused entity is the best explanation. This concept is intuitive but also agrees with reality: whatever begins to exist has a cause or a creator.
This cause or creator must be uncaused due to the absurdity of an infinite regress, in other words an indefinite chain of causes. To illustrate this better, if the cause of the universe had a cause and that cause had a cause ad infinitum, then there wouldn’t be a universe to talk about in the first place.
For example, Imagine you are a soldier ready to fire a gun, but before you shoot you have to ask permission for the soldier behind you, but he has to do the same, and it goes on for infinity. Will you ever shoot? No you wouldn’t. This highlights, the absurdity of an infinite regress and this applies to events to. Therefore, there cannot be an infinite history of past events. In similar light if we apply this to the universe we would have to posit an uncaused cause due to this rational necessity.

Evidence that God exists eh? Grrrr....this is exactly why a smart guy like Steve Jobs should of been born back in the B.C. days. Then he could of recorded Christ's feats on an Ipad or something.

ok but i'm going to leave you something to think about. this is one of my favorite quotes. "Is god willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent. Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent. Is he both able and willing? then whence cometh evil? Is he neither able nor willing? then why call him god? - Epicurus

It's not my opinion, I wish it was different too
An eternal dreamworld after death... I wish it was there, but it isn't.
Nothingness can't be there wihout existence...(The nothingness before the so called big bang is also the universe) The universe is eternal
No creation without destruction
No destruction without creation

Really don't see the point of this threat, people are just going to bash you for not believing in what they believe, typical humans.

I'm an atheist. I don't see a reason to believe in god, there is no proof of his existence (and that's not a reason that i cannot disprove his nonexistence either...)but that's why it's called faith...
