In Depth Research For Tobi
Hello again people of narutobase..i got here my new research but this time its different..its how maybe tobi originated..and how kishi made him and based with..i think:D
all of this are open for discussions..just no flames
now to start with..we all know that Tobi is a very powerful villain as he tell he is..and with his kind of powers..and with my research i think we can connect him with this.
From Wikipedia :
Yōkai (妖怪, lit. demon, spirit, or monster?) are a class of preternatural creatures in Japanese folklore ranging from the evil oni (ogre) to the mischievous kitsune (fox) or snow woman Yuki-onna. Some possess part animal and part human features (e.g. Kappa and Tengu). Yōkai generally have a sort of "SPRITUAL" or "SUPERNATURAL POWER", and so encounters with human beings tend to be dangerous. Yokai that have the ability to shape-shift are called obake. Yōkai also have different motives and agendas from human beings, which are often completely incomprehensible.
now if you see..i have highlighted the words Spiritual and Supernatural Power..that maybe we can connect tobi with proofs..further we will discuss about the other highlighted word Obake.
Spiritual

Supernatural

Now we will discuss what is a obake.
From Wikipedia :
Obake (お化け?) and bakemono (化け物?) (sometimes obakemono) are a class of yokai in Japanese folklore. Literally, the terms mean a thing that changes, referring to a state of transformation or shapeshifting.
These words are often translated as ghost, but primarily they refer to living things or supernatural beings who have taken on a temporary transformation, and these bakemono are distinct from the spirits of the dead. However, as a secondary usage, the term obake can be a synonym for yūrei, the ghost of a deceased human being.
Hitotsume-kozō (一つ目小僧, "one-eyed boys") are monsters (obake) found in Japanese folklore. They are roughly the size of ten-year-old children, but otherwise resemble bald Buddhist priests. Their most distinctive feature, however, is a single, giant eye peering from the center of the face, along with a long tongue, much like a Tsukomogami monster.
now if you will see..Hitotsume-kozo is a obake..and this is what it looks like

Notice the head part..if you will observe closely..look at the part where a circle is encircling the black hole..looks like tobi's mask right?
maybe this are where kishi based tobi
another theory i would like to show you is this..not that accurate but a good one to read
did you know that in japanese. there are 2 demons named raijin and fujin.
From Wikipedia :
Raijin (雷神, raijin?) is a god of thunder and lightning in Japanese mythology. His name is derived from the Japanese words rai (雷, meaning thunder) and shin (神, god). He is typically depicted as a demon beating drums to create thunder, usually with the symbol tomoe drawn in the drums.
i will put some image where tobi has lightning or been compared as lightning.
Lightning! #1

Lightning! #2

Another God is fuujin
From Wikipedia :
Fūjin (風神?) is the Japanese god of the wind and one of the eldest Shinto gods. He was present at the creation of the world and when he first let the winds out of his bag, they cleared the morning mists and filled the Gate between heaven and earth so the sun shone.

Supernatural

I wouldn't call this supernatural. The appropriate word is superhuman.
and I say NO to your Fuujin Raijin theory. Fuujin is Naruto and Raijin is Sasuke.
