So lets clear it up once and for all.

Naruto uses the power of Kurama.
This is naruto his power, because he obtained it(by sealing and training).
He has learned how to control the power and he has befriended kurama.
It doesnt matter if it is obtained through genetics, or by sealing.

Shinobi learn techniques. You arent born with all your techniques.
When you learn techniques, they for sure are yours right?
You can obtain power in numerous ways, training, implants, sealing,
you name it.

Sasuke uses the power of Sharingan and Especially EMS.
He obtained this power partly by genetics, partly by implant.
However, this power is Sasuke's. He has obtained it.

Jiraiya could fuse with 2 sage toads, but they were for sure part of his power.
Blood(an outside source) is required for edo tensei, but the technique is for sure part of Tobirama, Orochimaru and Kabuto their arsenal.

Animal summoning contracts need to be given to you, before you can make the contract and summon them.
You arent born with them either, but we for sure count them for a shinobi's arsenal.

Nagato has been implanted with rinnegan. Obito with Rinnegan. Madara infused himself with Hashi dna, for power ups and we all count their powers as part of them.

Danzo uses 10 sharingans, a hashi arm and a shisui eye and we all count it as his power.
Hanzo has implanted the venom sac of a salamander and we count it as his power.

I hope i have made this all clear.

Kurama is naruto his power.
EMS is sasuke his power.
and many shinobi have powers, that they not only gained by training and genetics, but through other sources as well.
We count it all as their powers.

I didn't read all this, but Kurama's power also belongs to Naruto. He trained to control it, and found his way into Kurama's heart. How would it not be his power? Thinking otherwise is just plain foolish.

I'm so tired of these threads. Why is it that people compare the sharingan with a tail beast? The sharingan is an ocular jutsu that is given to relatives of the Uchiha. The nine-tails is one of the entity's the Sage made to divide the powers of the ten-tails. Minato placed Naruto the nine-tails to be able to defeat Obito. The reason many argue that Naruto is weak and the nine-tails isn't his power it's because he always has the nine-tails saving him from tight spots. Naruto is strong don't get me wrong, but i understand people's point of view. Naruto is always rash in his decisions and that's what makes him struggle against his opponents. He doesn't think or calculate his plan until mid of the match where he starts using his brain. The difference is that Sasuke can lose a match, but he uses his ocular powers that was given to him by his ancestors. Naruto wins and people judge him because the nine-tails saved him from defeat. That's the difference right there. In other words it's a huge plot shield that makes Naruto invincible against most opponents.

I will agree that Naruto has done amazing things to change Kurama and has received greater power, so as a ninja he has grown to be a leader in a way. The thing is that Naruto didn't develop enough techniques from the Senju/Uzumaki to make him look his own boss without Kurama. I will say that KM and BM powers are his in a way, so i can argue since he is the host after all.
