With the Amount of Sharingan in Obito's possesion in his pocket dimension, he could have totally just trap all the strong shinobi individually in a continuous Time-Loop. and be left to deal with all the cannon fodder shinobi freely.

Such an overpowered ability throws the story line into chaos. Its like taking a knife into a 6 shooter gun duel when you're in possession of a Mini gun

I know you guys will flame me but hear me out: Obito is pretty much Intangible right and pretty epic at warping everywhere ?

Comical thought about Izanami:

Hokage - Izanami BAM infinite loop
Kazekage - Izanami BAM infinite loop
Raikage - Izanami BAM infinite loop
Mizukage -Izanami BAM infinite loop
Tsuchikage - Izanami BAM infinite loop

He'd have plenty of sharingan left over to deal with all the Kage's subordinates

Izanami is said to work on those who don't accept the path set for them and keep trying to change things. Kabuto was a prime example of this because of his identity crisis. He tried to become Orochimaru. He adopted Oro's dream and DNA and took pretty much took his life. He was especially vulnerable to it. It wouldnt work on someone like Naruto or Sasuke who seem completely sure of themselves.

and lets say izanami on 1 person then lose one eye (not kamui one obviously)
then go back transplant an eye, WAIT FOR IT TO HEAL !!!!!!!!
then go to war again (by that time war is almost over)
maybe use izanami on one more....
by the time he comes back with healed eye----------deserted fields-------------

how long did it take sasuke to heal, get accustomed to new eyes?

its not like rin was there with medical ninjutsu and made it work instantly
obito doesnt know any medical ninjutsu, he relies on senju dna to heal
thats why sasuke was out of action for so long.
