[Discussion] Why Kakashi killed Rin

Kakashi probably killed Rin so as to prevent the Hidden Mist's ninja from retrieving "it". Now, whatever "it" was they themselves said that they had to at least retrieve her body, meaning because they said "at least" that whatever "it" was, it was tied to her life. Get it? Agree?

Someone had a great theory about her being the 6 tails jinchuuriki. I'm not going to re-explain all the points though.

1. She was a spy for the Hidden Mist [Sleeper agent like Sasori's]
2. She had a unique kekkei genkai
3. She was an Uzumaki
4. She was a Jinchuuriki

I dont see how she could possibly have been a Jinchuuriki, otherwise Tobito would have revived her for his paths, which seems to defeat the purpose of the entire war if he did it for Rin.

I have no idea what 'it' is but im guessing it has something to do with Kakashi and not Rin. Rin did'nt have much of a personality so maybe she was a mist spy.

Naruto doesn't have red hair. Red hair might be an indicator that they are related to the Uzumaki, but you can't base someone's lineage solely on hair color... its ridiculous. Likewise, having red hair also doesn't mean you're an Uzumaki, look at Gaara.

But yes, it can be taken both ways, wherein they have "it" but needed Rin or that Rin was "it" itself. Either way, they needed Rin :P

About the Jinchuuriki thing.. It is not impossible, because what if she was the host of the sanbi? Yagura appeared to be the youngest among them. If she had it, it could be possible that Madara and Obito took it, and then Obito sealed it inside Yagura later.

Would also prove how he could get some trust among the hidden mist. I mean you can't just use a genjutsu on some kid and then lead the entire country, since the village probably had elders and lords as well..
