Well in this picture we see that eye with 6 tomoe's and circle's like the rinnegan ! ( I belive its a drawing of the sage and juubi eye )

But here the eye of the Juubi has ( 9 tomoe's and circle's like the rinnegan )

Is it possible that the eye of the Juubi has only 6 tomoe's and circle's like the rinnegan... but when the Sage of the Six paths controled the Juubi the eye turned into 9 tomoe's and circle's like the rinnegan ?

Note: I belive the So6p got the Rinnegan from the Juubi

Haha I thought everybody else forgot about that. Anyways I think the differences are just an honest mistake in the drawings. Im not saying you are completely wrong, maybe your right, but right now I just dont see any reason for the eye to be changed.

Hmm it might have something to do with the forbidden uchiha jutsu, the jutsu of the six paths, which madara mentioned later:

Perhaps it is the only way to control even the Jubi, which might explain it. Besides the last picture, if you count the pupil the jubi does have 10 tomoes

Doubt he got his rinnengan from the jubi, though it is an interesting thought, but highly unlikely since so much evidence pointing against it can be found in the manga just by looking at all the other jinchurikis and many other facts.
