Superhero name: Mystique
Age: 16
Background: When Kyle was fourteen, his father was diagnosed with cancer. As a natural child genius, and the child of a rich family (mainly his father's wealth), Kyle went to work. Knowing that curing cancer was far beyond him, he decided to create a device that would allow him to control cell growth and mystosis, allowing the doctors to amputate whatever they needed, and Kyle would be able to regrow whatever was lost, cancer free. However, after it was finished but before it could be used, Kyle's father died. Filled with anger towards himself for not being able to help his dad, Kyle ran away from home, taking his gauntlet-style device with him. However, even though Kyle ran away, he still tried helping people, and one day while he was testing the limits of his device, he found that it was able to multiply not only cells, but also atoms, in addition to being able to not only create, but destroy cells and atoms. With this technology, he was able to manipulate the density of objects, and in all essence, control gravity by making certain objects denser than others to increase it's specific gravity (and thus giving it a gravity strong enough to attract objects). As Kyle grew, he improved his device to make it more like gloves than gauntlets, making the technology more flexible, and created a fabric which could stiffen on contact with electricity, making the fabric hold its shape, allowing him to wrap his cape around his hand to harden a punch and turn his cape into a hang-glider (like Batman's in Batman Begins and Dark Knight). Now, Kyle is attending the SuperHero Academy, trying to find himself as he isn't sure weather he want's to use his powers for "good" or "evil".
Abilities: ~Gravity: Mystique is able to increase or decrease the density of objects to change their gravities, allowing him to draw things to the ground with more intensity, or draw things to other objects by increasing their gravities. Or lower gravity in an area to jump higher or remain suspended in mid-air.
~Cape: Mystique's cape is made of a special fabric which hardens upon contact with electricity (which can be created through his density-changing gloves). The cape can take on any shape, as a normal fabric can, and then harden it to make sure it doesn't move as long as Mystique is touching it.

I already had the character in mind; I have an entire plot for him and everything (on his own, that is).

As Mystique adjusts his small, dark dark blue mask which covers from his eyebrows to the top of his cheeks (similar to, but not exactly, these), made of fabric like the rest of his things, he looks around the room, his cape fluttering around him.
Mystique: This is the "SuperHero Academy"? Why not the "SuperHuman Academy"? I may not end up being a hero... However, as for hand-to-hand combat and martial arts, I have no such formal training, but I can do this:
Mystique then wraps his arm in his cape, making spikes where his knuckles would normally be with a single, fluent motion he had practiced many times, hardening the cape-fist and then punching the ground, cracking it.
Mystique: How's that?

Sanjin: sees mystiques show of power -thinks: he seems to be strong...- starts to punch lightly on dummy- thinks: if he wants me to power up I will likely blow this dummy to peices

Mr. Hebi: Good, its good to know you all have a background in combat studies, that will help a lot.

*snaps fingers and a dummy appears in front of each of you*

I want you all to use these dummies as your practice tools for awhie. Start with simple punches and kicks, and then work your way up if you are familiar with more advanced techs. Once you have done that class is dismissed for the day. Feel free to lounge around outside and enjoy yourself. Too much work isnt a good thing.

Mystique looks sideways at his dummy, and then snorts in derision, closing his eyes. He turns a quick ninety-degrees as he steps forwards, punching it in the face, and then doing a side-kick to the solar-plexus. Mystique then grabs the dummy by the neck and lifts it into the air. As his dummy's in the air, Mystique clenches his fists, activating his density-control mechinism, increasing the gravity in the area under his dummy, dragging it straight down into the ground, crushing his dummy completely. Mystique then releases his fists, returning gravity to normal.
Mystique: Done.

He was bitten by another werewolf when he 6 yrs old and was therefore changed. Instead of giving into the bloodlust, he uses his abilities for good. However, if he gets angry, he loses control, and therefore he is distant from others.

Superhero name: The Beast
Age: 15
Abilities: Anti-Energy: Jaxon has the ability to manipulate all forms of anti-energy (darkness, cold, silence, stillness, etc. Anything which is the absence of energy). This allows him to decrease the temperature of an area, the speed of any moving object/force, the light radiating from or reflecting off of any object/surface, ect. This can even be taken a step further, allowing him to create physical objects (such as a pulse or needles) out of what is simply the absense of energy; giving the absense of energy a physical form which can pierce or push objects. However, Jaxon can only use this ability as The Beast; an alter-ego which is controlled by emotion (similar to the Hulk). Normally, Jaxon is calm and emotionless, but when he feels emotions of any kind, he begins to grow fur and becomes tetrapiedal (four-legged), his eyes turn golden with slits and he becomes a sort of animal. While he's learning how to control The Beast, at this point in time he cannot.
Background: When Jaxon was on a field trip to a large university research center, his group was led to a room where scientists were attempting to study what exactly an absence of energy was; by extracting all moving particles, all heat, all light, ect. from a confined container, the scientists were able to have a total absence of energy. However, in order to remove so much, the energy was placed in another, identical container. When Jaxon was curious, he got too close to the storage of the anti-energy, and the container broke as his body heat was too great for the container to handle; it burst and the isolated anti-energy consumed Jaxon's body, turning him into The Beast for the first time. At the same time the anti-energy container burst, so did the container holding an excess of energy, the energy consuming a scientist named Dr. Lumier. As The Beast, Jaxon fled from his classmates, and to this day Dr. Lumier hunts Jaxon, trying to get rid of him for turning him into a monster.

Note: I realize Anti-Energy is a bit out there, so I understand if you decline.

Mystique lessens the gravity in the ground directly under him, allowing him to jump up to be level with the cieling of the room. Then he returns gravity to normal, stiffening his cape to act like a glider so he can float into a balcony area up high.
