-A review on the shaman-Intriduction arc(2)

Hey! I'm back with my review on Shaman King manga. In this threads I'll talk bout the chapters 3,4 and 5. Next time will be the turn of Ren's attack (yay :D).

Chapter 3-Unfinished billboard
Summary: In this chapter Yoh demostrates what are the responsabilites of being a Shaman to Manta. At the beginning, Manta is angry at Yoh because he uses ghost's abilities to pass tests, and other school's events. Since Manta puts a lot of effort in achieving high notes he can't accept it. Nonetheles, it is shown Yoh not only takes advantage of ghost's abilities, but he has also the duty to help the transtorned ones -slefbound ghosts-; which is a task rather painful. Also, Takei-san introduces this idea that tells the angry, disturbed, depressed souls (alive or not) lead to erratic behaviours.
Comment: Well, this shows a lit more how the characters are: Yoh is super lay off, while Manta is noisy and takes things too seriously. Also, it is shown Amidamaru has become Yoh's partner.

Fav. moments

First time I saw this, I was really surprised. I really thought Yoh was smashed by the billboard

Well, I like how deformed Takei drawn the ghost.

Chapter 4-Soul boxing!
Summary:In this chapter Yoh helps a troubled and violent guy, after his teacher (a legend of box) dies in an accident; demostrating Yoh is willing to help almost anyone.
Comment:Well, this chap talks a little bout the feeling one would have regarding the death of someone who was close to ya.

Fav moments

Yoh fighting the heat lol

Yoh receiving a punch after trying to talk bout the guy's deseased teached like it was nothing

Yoh "failing" to "get" the ghost lolol

Chapter 5-Samurai bodyguard
Summary:In this chapter Yoh saves some children from the root of a burning building. Here he manages to get Amidamaru excited bout his role of bodyguard. This chapters is the link between this Intro arc and the next one.
Comment:Well, I found it interesting, since it shows the warrior soul of Amidamaru.

Well, basically Amidamaru looks epic here.

lololol The aftermath of a hard work day.

And here, with his ominous face covered by darkness, the first antagonist shows up...Ren! :D He's my fav. character.

Well, it's normal, since they were not really important. I remembered them vaguely... What was stuck in my mind was Yoh being punched by the guy at the beginning of the chap

I suppose you'd be less likely to remember these kinds of chapters, but still, it feels as if it's the first time I'm seeing it!

Really? Well, probably I remembered them better because I used to have tons of pics from the manga saved in my pc...so when I was bored I watched them and lolol I saved that one precisely.
Hehehe-Indeed. But when I started the manga, I already had watched part of the anime, so I knew him...and I was very excited with his appearance (as a matter of fact, I had that pic saved too!).
I feel like the anime had a gud narrative and was very funny, but it disappointed me when I started to feel like the plot was kind of weird. Everything is cooler in manga, sadly

lolololol Maybe I shall read some as well I've only watched Karekano anime-what's directed by Hideaki Anno, that's why-Very entertaining and interesting I recommend it

I'll check it out, as well as recommend the manga called 'Dengeki Daisy', actually really funny as well!
Though the scanlation group kind of got lazy and the most recent chapters turned out bad, though I haven't read it for a while so maybe it's been changed?
