I was reading that thread about Naruto vs. Pain going all out and am aware it was closed for a reason but I feel something needs to be said. I am so adamant about this point that I went through the process of retrieving my password for this sole purpose.

Unless the Kyuubi is let out of the gate or he is extracted into the Gedo Mazo... In either case Naruto would die but the Kyuubi lives.
