In chapter 606 Madara says that the Mazou's body is the Juubi empty shell. So is the Gedo Mazou the Juubi's body or??????

i think the mazou is the plant because madara says he is hooked up to the mazo and we all know he is hooked up to the plant

It appears Gedo Mazo was the body of the Juubi, but with it's chakra removed. And the SO6P used Chibaku Tensei to create the moon and sealed the Juubi within it. (Similar, but on a much different scale then when Nagato did it on Naruto when he was transformed into the 9 tails)

Nope.
He clearly states that he hooked up Hashi's DNA to the Mazou and used the statue as a catalyst to cultivate Hashi cells.

Besides, honestly, we've seen Gedo Mazou a bunch of times, first time (if I recall correctly) being the Pein Arc. In Madara's hideout it might have been connected to that Hashi tissue mountain but originally it just looks like a huge Mokuton statue summon or a basketball player with down syndrome.
