Land of Iron... a few connections
- The Kage Summit -
It appears that the Raikage has a specific agenda to address at this summit, specfically two things.
1. First being that his brother the 8-Tailed Jinchurriki is missing.
&
2. Akatsuki lead by Uchiha Sasuke was the group responsible.
This is where I became curious about the choice of the Land of Iron to be the neutral meeting grounds. I am going to argue that being "neutral" is just relative. Compared to all the other Lands, Iron is the least connected to the shinobi world. This does NOT mean that there is no connection.
I theorize that the Land of Iron has a Deep Rooted connection with the Land of Lightning and the Hidden Village in the Clouds
To prove the possible connections, refer to following images and implications:
1. The Land of Iron does not have any shinobi village. Instead they use Samuri. This type of warrior uses their skill with the sword.
2. The Cloud Village possessed 2 Jinchurrikis. This is an imbalance of power in the shinobi world. Here is the 2-Tailed Jinchurriki.
3. The 8-Tails is the second beast. There are a few odd things to point out here.
1. Killer Bee, and his 2 other team members are all trained and experts with swords.
2. Killer Bee has 2 tatoos. One on his arm that says "Iron" and the second is of an ox horn. But why the 2 very distinct and recognizable tatoos? I believe that the Land of Iron was in possession of the 8-Tails, but made an agreement with the Cloud Village. Thus, the 8-Tails Jinchurriki was BRANDED with the Land of Iron symbol.
The land of Iron did not possess any shinobi. Therefore, they possessed no ability to utilize the 8-Tailed Beast. Instead, they used the beast as a bargaining tool. They traded the beast, for the loyalty of the Cloud Village.
Killer Bee even stated that he was not allowed to leave the village. He was basically under house arrest. This was done in order to protect the SECRET that the Cloud Village possessed 2 Jinchurriki's.
Killer Bee and his 2 team mates were sent to the Land of Iron to train, and to prove themselves worthy of possessing the 8-Tailed Beast. This is why they all are skilled sword users.
Implications:
The Land of Iron, and the Cloud Village are BOTH very vulnerable at this point. The Cloud village lost BOTH of their trump cards... and the Land of Iron is furious that they do not have the protection they once possessed. They were swindled out of their deal with the Cloud Village. It is no wonder why they are concerned about Akatsuki, and was to kill Sasuke for being the cause of this dilema. Naruto is not only going to have to fight off the Cloud Village, but also the entire Land of Iron.
In Summary:
The Land of Iron is NOT neutral, and infact, every action suggested to take place by them, will be to re-establish their security, and to benefit the Cloud Village.

Re: Land of Iron... a few connections
I didn't knw 2-tails was frm cloud country too until I saw its headband... nice catch!!
Not sure abt the whole theory though.. but it still is pretty good!
The Iron ****ry chief is just the moderator in the meeting.. I don't think he will hav much say in the meeting.. if he really is concerned abt the whole tailed beasts part.. also if according to Tsuchikage ninjas don't touch or mess with Iron country caz of samurai's or they are a small country therefore of not much importance.. so not sure if they really require a tailed beast
I think the reason why all kages were invited is caz all of em hav lost their tailed beasts (except konoha)... and thus there is severe shift in balance of power.. so they prob will want to destroy akatsuki and regain their respective beasts!!! this will b their main point of discussion

Re: Land of Iron... a few connections
Nice theory dude.....Nice 2 have you back....
---
You have made some good connections with usage of sword...
But there are some loopholes if you are trying to use only swords as a connection...
For Example:-
Even in Konoha:- Hayate, Kakashi, White Fang and possibly minato used swords, if I remember correctly. So that will mean Land of Iron is also connected with Konoha.
--
Same can be said about Mist Village, they have 7 swordsmen who as name suggests are master swordsman.
--
So to summarize I will say Land of Iron mere provided a factory for weapons and other things and training ground for all other villages.
--
Because if it wouldn't have been a neutral place, I dont think so other kages would have agreed to step in that place...

Like he said, using something common as a sword to base a theory on 0_o, it's way to vague. Your argument of the swords is no proof.

Another good point, there was already a village with 2 tailed beasts, why shouldn't there be another one?
And that the land of Iron would have a tailed beast makes to me the least sense of all. Why(and how) would a country with no shinobi have a tailed beast?
Also the reason why Killerbee was under house arrest is very simple: he is a host and the cloud village knew that Akatsuki was kidnapping all the hosts. The elders of Konoha tried exactly the same with Naruto, they tried to keep him in the village for his own protection.
And as I understand the manga correctly the land of Iron has been always neutral ground, not only now. Who should they have to fear to make alliances, especially, according to the description of the Tuchikage, because it isn't very big.
Sorry but your theory doesn't make much sense at all, the only thing you still have left is that Killerbee has a tattoo with 'iron' on, but that's pretty weak to make such statements.

Re: Land of Iron... a few connections
I like the theory and do believe some of it but saying the countries are connected by swords its pretty weak because of other countries having great swordsmen and not just the cloud

Re: Land of Iron... a few connections
There are other nations that have more than 1 Tailed Beast. Roshi and Han (4-tails and 5-tails) came from Iwa, the Rock Village. The 3-Tailed Turtle and the 6 Tailed Slug both originally came from Kiri, the Mist Village. The Only ones with only 1 Tailed Beast are Konoha, Suna and Taki, the Waterfall Village. So I don't think you're theory holds too much water.

Re: Land of Iron... a few connections
People are getting caught up on the whole "2 Jinchurrikis at 1 village isn't unique"
My point was not in the number of them... but in how the 8-Tails became under their possession.
When Kakuzo and Hidan killed the 2-Tailed Jinchurriki... Kakuzo crossed off the Hidden Cloud village on his map... Therefore the Jinchurriki from the Land of Lightnind was captured...
I am theorizing a connection between the Land of Iron, and the Hidden Cloud village... and that relationship is far away from being neutral.
Here is how it will go down....
At the Kage meeting, there is only 1 Kage that will stand beside Naruto, and that is Gara. At the end of the meeting Naruto will jump in and try and stop the Raikage. Danzo will flee flee the battle, to avoid giving away his secret of having the sharringan. Danzo can not take on Sasuke. Not even close. It'd be a slaughter. Especially with Kakashi now present, nothing sneaks past his eye. Sasuke will chase after Danzo, but will be stopped by the Mizukage. There will be a battle between the Swordsman of the Mist. As Danzo flees, Sasuke will see the sharringan on Danzo...
The end...
