Hello, I am new here! This is my first post !

My theory is about the Sage of the Six Paths having Sage Mode and leaving the Sage Mode to The Younger Son !

The name of the Sage of the Six Paths its still unknown... I belive people where caling him " The Sage of the Six Paths " because he could use two powerful things !

The Sage Mode !

The names of this jutsus gives the name " The Sage of the Six Paths "

The Sage of the Six Paths ( Rikudō Sennin )

The Six Paths = Rikudō
Sage Mode = Sennin Mōdo

I belive that the Sage of the Six Paths left The Sage Mode to his Younger Son !

The chakra around him looks like a person having Natural Energy around him !

I dont know why the Younger Son didn't say something about Sage Mode to his Clan or maybe he did but somehow it was lost and the Sage Mode was keept only in the sacred places...Mount Myōboku...Ryūchi Cave...Shikkotsu Forest

Seems very possible, good thinking, if that's the case maybe there's a evolving process like the Sharingan. Just like the sharingan becomes sharper from experience, the sage mode should last longer and become stronger with use and experience. Good theory *****

This is always what i've assumed. Sages body=ability to use SM, strong lifeforce ect Sages eyes=Rinnegan/6paths strong spiritual force.

but honestly we dont know a lot about sages in general. think about it, out of all the characters in naruto we've only ever met 3 sages. I dont think we know the full scope of the sages. This is just something I wish they had shown more of

i think there might be more to this example.. sasuke saw power of hermit mode first hand.. it was explained due altering sasuke's old crew abilities and now he teamed up with them again? in terms of power juugo are nothing before orochimaru or sasuke..

To add to it we know that Rinnegan which is required to obtain 6 paths is a Sharingan evolution that requires Senju DNA. Is it possible then that in order to fully activate sage mode (beyond what Naruto already is able to achieve) that user needs to acquire Uchiha DNA?

Just throwing out there. I do think it's problematic since it requires each of Naruto, Jirayia and Kabuto to be of Senju lineage. We know Naruto is but Jirayia and Kabuto are a long shot.

I think you need the "body" to sustain sage mode because kabuto did use karin dna for his sage mode so until sasuke gets somehow senju dna or uzumaki dna he will not obtain the rinnegan or the possbility of sustaining and learnig sage mode....the curse mark is just a way of geting natural energy like juugo and creating a very imperfect sage mode

So we are talking 1000 years ago at least. I don't know if that is realistic. Shinobi villages was created so long time after he created those? Well it would all come down to how long he lived, but I am more likely to believe that the SO6P trained at all the sacred places, which is how he became strong enough to seal the jubi within his own body. Only that way he could build up a body that would be strong enough. So I doubt that he would have any reason to leave the sage mode to his son.. It is left to those who taught him and whoever they wish to teach it to later on

You forget that the Sage of the Six paths was the first one that founded the arts of ninjutsu ! So i doubt the Sage will train... he was a monk i think he used meditation to gather nature energy and create sage mode....
