I don't know. Gaara does owe Naruto a hell lot of shit. But Gaara is a Kage and his main goal is to protect his village. If he goes against the rest of the Kages and tries to protect Sasuke, a member of Akatsuki, it could put his village at risk.

eh maybe. i mean, they are pretty close.
and concidering the things naruto did for Gaara back when akatsuki caught him, gaara should return the favor.
after all, naruto is gaara's influence on living for more than just the purpose of killing others...and he changed...which is why gaara is not my fave anymoree....sigh...
he just had to go and become kazekage, eh?
