Hashi's wood dragon vs Kyuubi

Apparently Hashirama had a summon which appears to be a dragon made out of wood... as far as I can see. Madara stated that Hashi subdued the Kyuubi with his wood dragon. We have yet to see the creatures ability aside from biting people. But still how dos Kyuubi lose to that, Beast ball would have demolished the dragon. Even so that Dragon is pretty cool. Either way how do you think this is going to turn out between Wood dragon and BM Kyuubi?

It was the final technique that subdued the kyuubi, Hashirama must of done a lot more before that so he probably wore the kyuubi down before that wood dragon.

Right now Naruto's got the upperhand against the wood dragon and will most likely finish it next chapter.

Also a tailed beast by it self is not as strong as a tailed beast and it's jinjurki working together and being partners. Because that is the tailed beast and the jinjuriki's powers combined.

Hashirama's wood release supresses the tailed beast power. Just adding a dragon makes it even more bad ass. I mean we need a Shen Long version of Hashirama's wood dragon and it will be awesome!

Wood release has to power to control/supress kyuubi.
Turning it into a dragon is probably just for style points :D.
Just as the water dragon jutsu. Really no point in shaping it into a dragon apart from esthetics.
Sasuke is among them with his kirin dragon.
You could have shaped it in anything else and it would have probably done the same.
Unless it is a summon and not a wood release jutsu.

naruto's bm is better, tailed beast are used to their maximum potential when they have a host, all naruto has to do is a sonic roar or tbb,even rs or a rasengan barrage would do the trick

Think while hashi faced madara, the kyubbi was occupied by the dragon, until it constricted it, so hashi could seal it. im sure the Kyubi will talk to naruto, and tell him what to do or about it

It all was how hashi used the jutsu mandara might know the jutsu but not like hash did and its against a complete jinjuriki not a manipulated karuma so it will go alot different

Lets not forget this kurama right now is a weaker version since minato sealed half its yin in the reaper death seal, its possible it could had recovered but who knows

Point is the wood dragon is no joke and is obviously powerful since it tamed a full power kurama ages ago

Madara never said it was stronger it is able to pin the kyubi down hence why it's wraped round naruto in the current chapter.

People underestimate wood in general. A full grown tree is very durable and hard to actually break or cut through. Trees created with chakra are more durable. That and the fact that they grow near instantly and have the ability to suppress Bijuu chakra in certain forms makes wood release very formidable.

It seems that this is the full version of Yamato's repressing jutsu. I believe that it involved the wooden dragons (Yamato's had much less detail and size) biting the bijuu chakra to stop it. It is probably the same case here. A TBB could be stopped in this manner as well. Just have the dragon take it head on and nullify the chakra.
