Re: Ninjutsu Training - Sharingdork
Ah.......I see what you did there....ha...ha...
---
"Alright," I responded slowly. "Somewhat decent. However, you're missing a lot of details. Firstly, what kind of particular attacks does this dissuade from happening? Secondly, how would you strike down someone who is using such jutsus?"

Re: Ninjutsu Training - Sharingdork
"This jutsu dissuade's basically any jutsu that requires a great number of handseals, as the weapons move too fast. If my opponent was using this, I believe the best way to strike them would be to use a quick, preperably handseal-less wind jutsu to redirect a barrage of weapons back at my opponent, preferably last-second so my wind affects the maximum number of weapons and my opponent has a minimum number of weapons to defend with, as they'd still be in the process of using this jutsu (the wind would push the weapons faster than the user can throw it, and so my barrage of weapons would get to him before he'd be able to throw an appropriate number of weapons to defend). Also, Uchiha with those tracking eyes and a great number of weapons themselves can defend against the incoming projectiles like in the Sasuke v Itachi fight, right at the begining during the shuriken barrage."

Re: Ninjutsu Training - Sharingdork
"Excellent response," I said, always amazed at Sharingdork's knowledge. "You are correct. However, moves like Lightning Fang and Earth Spikes also possess a great amount of offensive capabilities too. Also, this jutsu dissuades any move that has the user go into short range, such as Taijutsu."
After finishing my words, I dug within my pouch and handed him two medium-sized scrolls. "For this next one, I will hand you two small scrolls," I instructed. "Keep in mind that scrolls are usually light and you can keep a lot of them in your pocket. Just apply a bit of chakra to them to unfold them and summon whatever has been stored in there.
Unfurl these scrolls rapidly towards my clone, both scrolls directed at his feet, so that when you summon the weapons that have been stored in it previously, they will knock my clone up in the air due to the force.
Then after that, toss a chain (I will also hand you one), towards the foot of your opponent. Aim to interlock it around both his feet and drag him back down in a painful manner."

Re: Ninjutsu Training - Sharingdork
*Holding the scrolls in my hands so that my thumb is holding the end of the wrapped-up scroll against my palm, with my other fingers holding the rest of the scroll. Swinging my arms back behind myself, I throw my arms in front of me, letting the scrolls unfurl and roll away from me. Holding the scrolls by the end, I chanel chakra through my hands and into the unwrapped scrolls. As the scrolls reach your clone's feet, one scroll to each foot, my chakra causes the contents to burst out in an explosive summoning, knocking your clone up into the air.
After my summoning weapons, after your clone has stood up, I take the chain you've given me and twirl it in my right hand out of my side for a few seconds, examining the area and situation. Then I speed up the rotation of the chain, and flick my wrist after letting it lull a second, loosening my grip so the chain slides clean through my loose grip and follows the momentum of my flick to cause the end of the chain to fly in an arc, with a portion of chain hitting your clone's ankle, making the end sharply turn to begin winding counter-clockwise around your clone's legs. As my chain wraps around the ankles of your clone a few times, I yank the chain I still have in my hands towards myself, pulling the overlapping links taught so they won't slide away from each other and causing your clone's feet to fall out from under him, making him land on the back of his head.*
How was that, sensei?

Re: Ninjutsu Training - Sharingdork
OCC: Very good, but several things you are missing here.
-What kind of weapons came out of that scroll? If you used explosive tags, then the clone would have been blown into the air, and if normal weapons, he would have been impaled into the air.
-Where did you aim to hit him on the ground? If he landed too close to the ground near you, the debris and such could have affect you also.

Re: Ninjutsu Training - Sharingdork
OOC: I thought the scrolls would release the metal spiked balls as stated in the description of the second jutsu you posted:
So he would be part beaten into the air, and part pierced into the air.
With the first jutsu I described, the summoning one, I wanted to hit him straight up into the air, which would make him and the debris fall straight down. With the chain, I pull so he falls away from me.
Sorry those are so short responces... Just wanted to get the OOC stuff out of the way...

But if he slams the ground too close to you, wouldn't the debris from the explosion affect you too?

Re: Ninjutsu Training - Sharingdork
Depending on how far away from me he is in both cases, as he falls onto the spiked balls he would, I thought, fall onto them, further impaling/crushing himself. But I suppose his fall could send a few more flying into the air, though I didn't think that it would be an issue for me unless he's really close...
If you say that I should be careful of how he's falling, I'm obviously missing something, so could you please elaborate, sensei? That's why I'm here, to learn. :D

Re: Ninjutsu Training - Sharingdork
Well, if you dragged the opponent right next to you on the ground, and there was a lot of small dust and rock, wouldn't you get affected by them too?

Re: Ninjutsu Training - Sharingdork
Yes, I suppose, though I has assumed he was quite a ways away from me...
However, I understand; causing my opponent to fall onto the ground after an explosive summoning right near me can cause small bits of shrapenelto fly up to hit me as well. :D Anything else you want to talk about on this topic of these jutsu, sensei?

Re: Ninjutsu Training - Sharingdork
"None at all," I replied, happy. "Excellent job."
As I completed my words, I reached into my pouch, handing out another scroll that I handed to Sharingdork.
"Take this scroll I handed you," I started. "And wave it in a circle to build momentum. As this happens, insert chakra into the scroll and 'release' it, causing a giant, chain hammer to appear as you grab it with your hands, then smash it on my clone!"
I bring my hands together, forming the Tiger seal, creating a single clone mid range from Sharingdork.
"This move should have instantaneously with no hesitations. It is one, fluid movement."

Re: Ninjutsu Training - Sharingdork
*Holding the scroll, I hold the edge of the paper of the scroll, so as I begin spinning the scroll unwinds itself. With my scroll unwinding around me, and creating an almost spiral of scroll parchment around myself, I begin chanelling chakra into the paper to activate the seal within it. As the seal activates with my chakra, a puff of smoke appears as a chain hammer poofs into existance. Grabbing the chain, I continue my momentum, spinning the hammer to make the weapon fly further away from myself, making the chain slide through my hand so I have some sort of control. With my hammer swinging through the air, the chain eventually makes it move out to mid-range, and smash your clone in the side.*
If I'm using this wrong, its because I just assumed a chain hammer was a hammer attatched to a chain.

Re: Ninjutsu Training - Sharingdork
It seems right. Did you grab the chain with one hand or both? And describe the difference.

Re: Ninjutsu Training - Sharingdork
I intended to grab it with one hand. Grabbing with one hand really only lets you continue the hammer's momentum to hit something, and then you can let go and focus on something else. Grabbing with two hands allows one to get their whole body behind the chain, and therefore the hammer, making it spin faster and creating more force on impact. The user can also release the chain to let the hammer fly, making the technique more ranged than should it be grabbed with one hand.
OOC: Are we in the C-ranks now?

Re: Ninjutsu Training - Sharingdork
OCC: Yes, we are. And perfect response.
I nodded in satisfaction, pleased with the results. "So, now, you understand how the Ninja Tools work now and the basic law of physics that propel Ninja weapons. Basically, throwing a lot of weapons at once with high speeds allows you to obscure the opponent's vision and disregard them from using short range, powerful attacks, such as Taijutsu."
Finishing my words, I spread a hand out at the trees. "Alright," I began. "This next jutsu is extremely basic.
I want you to surpress your chakra to the point where your signature can not be detected or felt by me. Then hide in a tree!"

Re: Ninjutsu Training - Sharingdork
*I begin silently meditating, remaining standing, concentrating on being still and not moulding my chakra. I relax myself, letting my body fade into a feeling of absence, the sense of my chakra flowing through my body becoming fainter within myself the more I relax. Walking throughout the forest with the faint, almost annoying sense of chakra in the back of my mind, deep within my subconcious, I look up at an interesting-looking tree. Climbing up the tree, I sit on a branch with a lot of leaves, trying to hide myself within the forest with my chakra supressed.*

Re: Ninjutsu Training - Sharingdork
I had closed my eyes when Sharingdork had used the jutsu, and upon feeling his chakra signature disappear, I reopened them, seeing him nowhere in sight.
"Good!" I called out. "So, besides sound, which can alert you to an enemy's presence during this jutsu, why does not also this not work on Doujutsus?"

Re: Ninjutsu Training - Sharingdork
"Because the Byakugan sees objects, not solely chakra, but they can also see people as people, trees, buildings, etc. With their 360 degree vision, a Byakugan user can see the target, and as they can see through the person, a Byakugan user can also see the minute supressed chakra stream, should they focus on it. The Sharingan, I believe, can track heat signatures as well as chakra, allowing them to see a person within their visual range by tracking their minute movements. The Rinnegan has the capability to see chakra barriers which are otherwise hidden, and as they are otherwise hidden, the Rinnegan can see what other dojutsu/sensors can't see, and so they'd easily be able to see the supressed chakra by this technique."
OOC: Not sure if the Sharingan one is accurate enough. I know that the Mangekyo Sharingan can see chakra much better than the other stages, but I'm not sure if the Sharingan's normal sight (even 3 tomoe) can see such a minute chakra signature (possibly if they're staring directly at it and using all of their concentration on the person... :shrug .

Re: Ninjutsu Training - Sharingdork
OCC: Naw, all Doujutsus pretty much render this useless. xD
"Now, since you've learned Earth," I said to Sharingdork, who finally re-appeared after using this jutsu. "Take a look at the ground. Bend down and have a feel for it its qualities, then by surging your earth chakra through you, manipulate the cells of your hand so that it adapts the same material as it."

Re: Ninjutsu Training - Sharingdork
OOC: Yeah, I knew this technique was completely useless. The only thing it's good for is sneaking passed Sensors which is really only applicable in the Ninja World, where each village is overgrown with dojutsu... :/ And when you do sneak passed, if you get caught you have to cancel the technique before you can fight back... Also, I've wanted this technique so badly for so long.... So many earth techs which require this.
*Bending down to the ground, I place both of my palms against the solid earth. Drawing upon the basics of my earth training from -Tenzo- -sensei and Gobi-senpai oh-so-long ago, I concentrate my chakra into my palms, drawing upon the strength, sturdiness of earth, making my hands saturated with doton chakra. With my earth chakra in my hands making contact with the earth just below my palms, the chakra in my cells causes my hands to slowly take on the properties of earth, and specifically the earth it's touching, the chakra in my body spreading up my arms, turning my body slowly into the ground which makes up the earth I'm currently walking on.*
"Now what, sensei?"

"Well, if this is the jutsu I think it is, it could be used to meld with the earth and control various aspectsof the ground. Also, if I gain the properties of the ground around me, my body should become stronger if I'm on solid rock, or more able to absorb physical attacks if I'm on something like soil or moss. Right? Also, why isn't this doton? O_o"

Re: Ninjutsu Training - Sharingdork
"The world is weird," I replied, chuckling a bit. Pausing, a small smile came on my face as I realized what the next was. "Well, I consider this one of the most amazing techniques ever - Shadow Clone jutsu."
I brought up my hands, crossing the fingers to form the Tiger handseal. "Start by focusing upon an image of yourself. Then form the Tiger handseal and send your chakra out your body to create a clone of yourself. Make sure it turns out solid and also, please be careful on how much chakra you give the clone."

Re: Ninjutsu Training - Sharingdork
So I have permission for all the doton jutsu with Assimilate All Creation? wease:
*Concentrating my previous training, for the Clone technique, the Haze Clone technique, and various genjutsu technqiues, I concentrate on how I see myself. Taking in a deep breath, I bring my two hands as if I were making the tiger handseal, except that they're separated (not together in one seal). Then, taking my four extended fingers, two on each hand, I place them in a cross formation, focusing my chakra next to me, creating a basic outline of myself with chakra. Using chakra control, and what I know from all my previous cloning techniques and the transformation technique, I mould my chakra to create a solid form of what I know myself to look like. Using my transformation technique knowledge, I cause the chakra to reflect light at certain wavelengths to generate the colors of my clothing and skin tone, and to become solid, unlike all of the previous clones I've been making. Once my clone is generated to a point I personally find acceptable, I evenly distribute my chakra between the clone and myself, giving us both approximately half of my total potential chakra. Looking at you, with my clone mimicking the motion, I ask the question,*
"How's that? I was supposed to give it half chakra, right?"

Re: Ninjutsu Training - Sharingdork
Well, you learned it. So naturally, yes.
---
It didn't take long for an amazing replica of Sharingdork to pop up next to him. They both waved at me, grinning, as I chuckled softly, nodding my approval.
"Well," I said. "You are indeed correct in giving him half your chakra. Everything needs to be evenly divided when using Shadow Clone jutsu."
I paused, running my eyes over Sharingdork's clone, assuring both were the exact same. "So...you've learned one of the best jutsus ever. In how many ways can you use a Shadow Clone?"
