The latest filler was actually very exciting. Action packed and relevant to what's going on. Only beef is that there are a lot of plot holes that don't matchup with manga. The first time I've seen such fillers in Naruto. But nonetheless it's better than going an entire season on strictly filler material like that crystal user and the bubble jjnchuriki. I like periodical fillers much better. How much longer do you think this'll hold up LOL. I'm ready to see some animated meteors.

I actually really enjoyed the filler as well. It fit in well with what was going on, showed the war from a more common person's perspective, and expanded on some stories we did not get to see in the manga. I think Naruto in general does a pretty good job with its fillers (which unfortunately are necessary in any anime) especially when compared to its counterparts like Bleach, which consistently interrupted the story for something completely irrelevant and meaningless. Anyway just my opinion.
