Ulquiorra is a slender, yet fairly muscular, male shinobi of average height with a melancholic appearance. He has fairly short, messy black hair, pale white skin, a black upper lip, and green eyes with small slit-shaped pupils similar to a cat's. Part of his bangs falls between his eyes and he has distinctively thick eyebrows. He has teal lines that descend from the lower part of his eyes. His facial expression rarely changes, though he is almost always frowning. He wears a white jacket, black sash, and a white hakama. However, his jacket seems to have longer coattails than others and the collar is rather high.

Personality:
Ulquiorra is a very cold, callous, dispassionate figure, and is rather aloof, brooding, and indifferent, willing to harm both his comrades and enemies should they ever get in his way. He refers to anyone he does not find interesting as "trash" and treats them as expendable. Despite this, like most of the other top shinobi, he is not particularly violent and will only fight when provoked or ordered to by Akihiko.
Ulquiorra's overall behavior, reflects the concepts of materialism, which also connects to his aspect of death, Emptiness.

His cold demeanor allows him to stay completely calm and in control in most situations, and he is not easily surprised or caught off-guard. However, he does not seem to comprehend the Human trait of fighting against all odds or the very concept of the Human heart.
Ulquiorra is also highly perceptive, cunning, and analytical. During his and Yammy's first visit to Iwagakure, he makes several surprisingly accurate remarks on the shinobi.
Ulquiorra seems to be demanding as well. He also prefers not to dirty his hands, Ulquiorra is fully capable of committing truly abhorrent and inhumane actions without feeling any shred of remorse or hesitation.

History
Ulquiorra has lived in Kirigakure ever since he could remember, he had no parents, no relatives, no friends and no connections with anyone at all. He stays away from everyone, everyone on his team and his sensei. He realised no one cared much about his existence much at a very young age so this is why he prefers not to get close to anyone. He has absolutely no feelings whatsoever he is merely an empty shell of a human being. He left Kirigakure at the age of eleven and wandered the Land of Water alone and surviving off of the land. Without realising he kept ebbing closer and closer to the borders of the Land of Fire. This is where he would see the luscious green forests that surround Konohagakure for the first time. After about eight months of travelling he reached the forest and that is where he felt company, where he met the first thing that he could call company. The smallest tree in the forest, completely secluded from every other tree, planted in a clearing. Everything around it was dead except for the tree itself. when Ulquiorra saw this tree he could automatically relate to it and imagine how it feels because he thought it felt exactly like he does. So that is where he spent most of his life, living in that tree, gathering supplies from the surrounding forest to keep him alive and using jutsu and his sword in order to protect himself from any potential danger.

When he was fifteen three men came to him and recruited him into a small army of incredibly strong shinobi. The three men who came to him and asked him to join were called, Blizzard, Akihiko and MockingBird. They assured him that he could be of service to this army. Ulquiorra didn't care much for this and rejected them immediately, but the next day when he went out hunting for food he came back to the tree and found that it had been burnt down and all that was left was the remains, it's ashes, it didn't look like it effected him at all but that very same day he decided to go and join that small army that those three shinobi tried to recruit him into. He gained a partner and his name was Mig, Ulquiorra did not care for having a partner he thought of it as baby sitting.

He spent nine years with that Army and he had been given a number by the end of those nine years, his number was four. The ten shinobi were ranked by number and Ulquiorra was the fourth strongest out of them all. The army's name was the Espada and each of the shinobi who were a part of the army were called araancar. They were joined with the Leaf Village and did dealings with them over the years, this army was feared among all of the villages. They were a force to be reckoned with. Ulquiorra did not care who he killed or how he did it, as long as he was told to kill he would do it and with no remorse or hesitation because that was his Ninja Way.

Murciélago (黒翼大魔 (ムルシエラゴ), Murushierago; Spanish for "Bat", Japanese for "Black-Winged Great Demon"): Ulquiorra's sword takes the form of a standard sized katana with a green handle and sheath. The guard has two curved extensions from its long sides, with a line going through both sides to give it an eye-like appearance.

Lightning Release

Due to Ulquiorra's mastery over Lightning Release he can perform all of the Lightning jutsu with only one handseal.

Fire Release

Due to Ulquiorra's mastery over Fire Release he can perform all of the Fire jutsu faster than a regular shinobi.
