*I run into the field, tripping because I'm running too fast. As I trip, I land on my hands and push myself into a large flip, landing on one foot and one knee, my right hand covering my face as I pant.*
"Oi senpai! The last jutsu I was taught was:
(Konoha Shōfū) – Leaf Rising Wind
Chakra cost: N/A
Damage points: 20
Description: This technique uses the entire body as a spring, by amassing power through taking a posture where the back of the body falls down. With this powerful taijutsu, the user kicks just above the head. Because the power of the kick from the ground is instantly converted into a blow, the enemy hit with this attack will be launched high into the sky.
Running towards your clone, I bring my right hand up to my side in a fist, with my palm facing upwards, preparing the strike. As I reach your clone, I twist my body so my left side is closer, bringing my right fist away from your clone, with my right leg crossed behind my left, which is planted in front of my body. Then I twist my body, my right leg spinning as well to help with momentum, and extend my right fist from my shoulder height into your clone's shoulder, bringing my fist downwards and to my left, your clone's right, the force of my punch, if left completely undefended, most likely enough to at least cause your clone's knees to buckle, even if just slightly.
"On the battlefield this jutsu can be used if, for example, I'm somehow above my opponent, to strike downwards with gravity. It can also be used with a low strike or kick before it, drawing my opponents attention away from the downward strike."
*Running at your clone, I bring my left hand back in a fist by my side, with my palm facing up, a prepared position. As I reach your clone, I lower my left hand as I take a large step forward with my right foot, turning my body so my left side is away from the clone. Then, copying what I did last time, I spin my behind left leg, using its momentum along with my own power of spinning my body to bring my lowered fist forwards. As my fist comes forwards, I extend my arm in a crecent path upwards, catching your clone in the solar plexus where the ribs meet. However, my fist doesn't stop moving on impact, but continues its path in the cresent punch upwards, throwing your clone helplessly into the air, the positioning of my punch also knocking the air out of him.*
"A strike sending the opponent into the air with enough force behind it, even if blocked incorrectly (ie. catching the strike with an arm instead of redirecting my strike completely), can still send the opponent into the air, which restrict their movements as they're in mid-air, so they can't turn themselves to defend from behind. This is also good, should one be able to use it, against well-skilled Earth users, as getting them away from the earth takes away their power. However, if the opponent was such a great Earth user, the possibility of getting close enough to them to use this technique is slim. :/"
Good. It is also is useful against an airborne target that is descending on you, gravity causing him to fall quickly, and all you have to do is strike and he feels greater pain.
(Shōgekishō) - Upwards Attacking Palm
Chakra cost: N/A
Damage points: 15
Description: The user strikes their opponent with an upwards thrust into the abdomen lifting them into the air.
Now, I want you to strike out with a forward palm thrust at my clone.
*Running towards your clone, I repeat my preparidness procedure, bringing my right arm back by my side. Stepping forwards and across my body with my left leg, I plant it on the ground, steadying myself, as I twist my body around with my right leg helping me gain momentum as I spin on my left leg as a pivot point. As I move, I extend my right arm, twisting my arm so my upward-facing palm now faces outwards towards your clone, my hand open opposed to the previously closed position. With my fingers hyperextended as far as I can bend them by normal means, I extend my arm forwards into your clone's solar plexus, leading with the under-side of my knuckles (where my knuckles are on the underside of my hand).*
That technique is particuarily useful against an enemy who is charging at me, allowing me to strike him and use his momentum to increase the impact of my palm. This is also a good "push" technique, rather than a "break" technique, so if I'm fighting a person who has a rather strong defense/body, I would strike with my palm before I would strike with my knuckles, as my palm has more room to give and isn't as rigid and stiff as my knuckles, which would shatter under a certain amount of impact, where as my palm would just give and would take more pressure in a sudden impact to harm than my knuckles would.
Excellent! You added stuff I wouldn't expect most new students to grasp so kudos. ^^
(Hōshō) - Crumbling Palm
Chakra cost: N/A
Damage points: 15
Description: The user strikes the opponent with a forwarding palm thrust.
Now, if you live in American, I'm sure you have at some point played football (not soccer, but american football). When you're running with the ball and someone comes in your path, you often 'shoulder block' them out of the way and continue onwards. In that same aspect, I want you to run at my clone and thrust your shoulder into him, causing him to fall over and outta your way.
I lives in Canada... And have never played football... But I have done a similar action at a summer camp one year to get past a councellor.
*Stretching my arms and legs before begining, I then plant my back foot behind my left foot, bending my knees and almost "bouncing" while my feet remain planted. Holding my arms out to my sides, I twist my head to crack my neck as I get a good look at your clone. Then, swining my right leg forward while I push off with my left (front) leg, I propel myself towards your clone, putting my right hand on my left shoulder and twisting the upper-half of my body counter-clockwise so my right shoulder is facing your clone. As I run, keeping my body low to the ground so my shoulder is about the height of your clone's solar plexus, I channel chakra throughout my body to transform myself into an exactly replica of my, with the exception that my right sleeve is missing and a tattoo is on my shoulder, which reads, "Hi, I'm Sharingdork's shoulder! :D". As I hit your clone square in the chest, I extend my bent knees, driving my shoulder up into the air, and with it your clone, lifting him off the ground before he falls flat on his back.*
(Henge no Jutsu) - Transformation Technique
Description: Henge no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique, which every ninja learns at the Ninja Academy. Henge allows the ninja to transform themselves into any person or object. This allows the ninja to move with stealth or to trick their opponents.
"My shoudler has said all that needs to be said. "
I just transformed the tattoo on... *The tattoo poofs away as my sleeve poofs back on.* And Sask. :D
*As I run towards your clone, I fix my sight on my target; his abdomen, right where the ribs meet at the soft spot. As I near your clone, I plant my right foot to the left side of your clone (my right). Making sure my foot is planted well, I pull myself forwards, my left leg coming up to press my heel against my thigh so my knee's path is unobstructed. The, rotating my body clock-wise to get the full momentum effects, I bring my left knee from a position parallel to the ground straight up, making contact with your clone in approximately the solar plexus area, cracking his ribs and sending your clone into the air, even if just for a brief second. Letting my momentum finish, I complete the spin and plant my left foot behind my right, my hands up in front of my face and chest (right and left, respectivly) in a fighting stance, ready for more.*
(Shōshitsu) - Rising Knee
Chakra cost: N/A
Damage points: 15
Description: The user will strike their opponent with an upwards thrust with their knee.
Now as we've been discussing gravity, we should talk a bit about inertia. A law of physics says that an object in motion stays in motion, meaning if something is moving, it continues moving until something causes it to stop moving. Inertia is a way of measuring how hard it is to change the momentum of an object, whether that's getting it to speed up or getting it to slow down. That depends on how much mass the object has. Big heavy things (things with a lot of mass) have more inertia than light things. You have to push a bus harder than a scooter to get it to move.
That being said, a freefall would cause you to call to the earth quickly but combined with your opponent's mass, you both fall to the earth fairly faster.
*makes a clone*
I want you to use earth rampart jutsu to raise the earth under the two of you, to get us higher in the air. Then, grab my clone by the legs and jump off, turning him upside down in the process and driving his head into the earth as you wrap your arms around his legs and your legs around his neck or waist, preventing him a chance to escape.
Concentrating doton chakra throughout my body, and then through me into the ground, I slam my hands together in the tiger seal, causing the earth below your clone and I to rise rapidly far above the ground.
(Doton: Doryū Jōheki) - Earth Release: Earth Flow Rampart
Chakra Cost: 20
Damage Points: N/A
Description: By performing the Tiger hand seal the user then makes a gigantic rampart rise up beneath the user's feet, by shaping the ground and increasing the amount of earth with chakra. Depending on what the user imagines, the shape of the rampart can be anything from level ground to a steep, needle-like mountain. If the user increases the volume of earth too much, he can be forced to keep his chakra consumption down. The user can combine this jutsu with Water Style: Waterfall Basin Technique to create a waterfall.
Taking a low, prepared stance, I run towards your clone, bending down to grab his ankles as I run next to him off of the rampart. Dragging your clone by the ankles off of the ground on which he's standing, I spin his body around so he's relitivly in front of me. Then, placing his ankles on my shoulders, I spin my legs around clock-wise to wrap around his neck (so my left leg catches the back of his neck, and my right leg catches the front of his neck). With my spinning momentum from my spinning legs, your clone and I spin around and around like a top until your clones head smashes into the ground.
Very well. As you can see inertia places a big part in your both falling, causing you to hit the earth with great strength.
(Hayabusa Otoshi) - Peregrine Falcon Drop
Chakra Cost: N/A
Description: The user grabs a falling opponent by their ankles, wraps his legs around their waist, and drives them head first into the ground, similar to the Front Lotus.
Now I want you to flip towards my clone and deliver a 7 strike combo, utilizing your legs and arms.
*Running towards your clone, I leap into the air, doing a frontal flip in mid-air. As I complete the flip and am about to land, the heel of my right foot catches your clone on the left side of the forhead, about the temple area.* "ONE!" *Bringing my right foot down, with my left foot already planted, I throw a right punch towards your clone's left side, at about the floating ribs (the two lowermost rib pairs, XI-XII), twisting my body to get full power into the punch. Then, I twist my body the other way, clock-wise as apposed to counter-clock-wise, getting power behind a left punch to your clone's nose.* "TWO, THREE!" *Returning my body to a normal position, square facing your clone, I raise my right leg (which is behind my left in a fighting stance) so my thigh is parallel with the ground, my shin and foot perpindicular to the ground (so my knee is at a 90 degree angle). Then, I extend my leg out, pulling my toes back to strike with the ball of the foot, catching your clone at the solar plexus. Bringing my leg back to my prepared kick stance (knee at 90), I turn my leg out to the right side, so my knee is still 90 degrees, but my entire leg is as parallel to the ground as I can stand. With my leg out to the side, I extend my leg just as before, catching your clone once again in the floating ribs (on the other side of his body this time) with the ball of my foot once again. Again, bringing my foot back to normal position (knee at 90, thigh parallel to ground, shin/foot perpindicular to ground), I turn my left foot to the left, bringing my body with it so your clone is to my right. Then, I extend my right leg out to the right, striking with the side, or blade, of my foot in your clone's chest area, letting my right foot land and plant itself on the ground after the strike.* "FOUR, FIVE, SIX!" *Then, I look at your stumbled clone, tripping on his own feet to fall on the ground, and find a way to perform the final technique. Begining with a hand-stand, so my feet extend straight up into the air, I suddenly bend my elbows, causing my body to go off center and fall towards your clone. Then, using my core muscles and gravity, I bring both my heels down in a double-axe kick type style, smashing your clone's nose into his skull and quite potentially poofing him. Then, as my heels strike the ground, I bend my knees again and kick them into the air, using the force to drag myself up into a standing position, where I stomp cosmetically near where your clone is/was.* "SEVEN!!"
Very well, your use of gravity to your advantage was nicely done. ^.^
(Dainamikku Akushon) - Dynamic Action
Description: The user flips towards the opponent and attacks with a series of punches and kicks equalling 7 attacks.
Now, solo taijutsu attacks can be pretty damaging to a foe but what better way to increase that damage than with more people attacking at once? Shadow clones are often the most used way to do this as most fights are one on one to begin with. By using them in battle, you increase your chances of winning in a taijutsu battle tremendously. Then again, if it's truly a taijutsu fight, then you will not be able to use clones but that's besides the point. The main point being, clones increase the amount of damage you can deal to a foe in a single turn.
I want you to create 3 clones and run at my clone before catapulting yourselves in the air by somersault, spinning and you all end up striking the clone in the shoulders/head with a kick.
*Running towards your clone, I form the clone seal, and channel my chakra into areas beside me, where I materialize three copies of myself, clones. With my clones running next to me, I nod towards them, and then two of my clones throw myself and my other clone into the air, sumersaulting through it. Then, one of my clones throws the last one on the ground up into the air, where the last clone on the ground jumps after him. Then, in formation, as myself and my clones are sumersaulting in the air (should your clone look up, one of us is blocking the sun to give a dramatic effect; simply for awesome aesthetics), all of us extend a leg straight up into the sky, while still spinning, so our spinning momentum with the extended apendage will be transfered into our heels, pulling the four of us down towards your clone with extra force. As we land, one of my clones hits the left shoulder, one hits the right shoulder, one hits the jaw, and myself smashes my heel into your clones forhead.*
"How was that, senpai?"
(Kage Bunshin no Jutsu) - Shadow Clone Technique
Description: The Kage Bunshin distributes the ninja's chakra evenly among the clones and creates a real copy with form and substance. The clone itself can also utilize any jutsu the original ninja knows. When the clone finally disperses, any new knowledge it has gained is passed back to the original ninja and any additional clones. Upon impact, the clone can be dispersed.
(Bunshin Kaiten Kakatou Otoshi) - Clone Spinning Hell drop
Chakra Cost: N/A
Description: A taijutsu attack done after 3 shadow clone are made. The user somersaults into the air spinning and landing a blow to the shoulder of there enemy with there heels.
Now, some jutsus can only be performed in the air. I want you to knock my clone into the air by any means that you can. Then, launch yourself into the air behind him, acting as his shadow of sorts. Tell me why this might be useful.
*Running up to your clone, as I near him I drop down to the ground, where I land on my hands, crouched down so I appear to be on all fours. Then, I spin my body in a sumersault movement, with my legs still held closely to my body, until I'm doing a handstand, directly under your clone. Then, I extend my whole body, arms, legs, back, in order to strike your clone. My whole body, which was bent to keep it close together, suddenly expands into a straight "arrow", my heels catching your clone in the chin and sending him straight up into the air. Then, I complete the sumersault and land on my feet, where I glance up to find your clone in the air. Then, I leap up after him, and twist my body so I'm directly behind him, my body being almost like a shadow of his as it floats through the air.*
"This technique is useful in that as my opponent is struck into the air, he'll be disoriented, meaning I he will have to switch his mind-set from "fighting on the ground" to "fighting in the air" before he can counter, where as I'm prepared and can strike from behind. Another good thing is that if I use this technique well enough, my opponent won't know I'm behind him, allowing me to strike while my opponent doesn't know where I am."
Yes, that's what makes it useful, the enemy wouldn't be able to see you until it is too late and it can be used as an extension to perform other jutsus. There can be a multitude of customs created from the point of the SoDL jutsu ^^
(Kage Buyō) - Shadow of the Dancing Leaf
Chakra Cost: N/A
Damage Points: 5
Description: A technique where one follows the opponent, closely matching his or her body's movement, just like a leaf that dances in the air is followed by its shadow. The technique is usually preceded by a swift upper kick that will launch the target into the air. It is mainly used to position an opponent into a vulnerable aerial position. This move by itself is harmless, but it is usable as a stepping stone for a great many powerful techniques like Front Lotus and the Lion Combo. That said, it also has a rather high degree of difficulty.
Now, another aspect to touch on, buoyancy. Buoyancy, in a nutshell, is the ability to float in water or air. A ball full of air is extremely buoyant, where a lead ball is not buoyant at all. It's because the ball of air is less dense than the water. By picking up speed from a rotation, you can increase your buoyancy, causing yourself to rise slowly as you perform the attacks, looking like how Naruto was slightly raising as he was dealing multiple blows to Sasuke in the Valley of the End battle.
I want you to attack my clone with a combination of kicks, beginning with a low kick, chaining a mid-section kick and hi kick as you spin around, ending with a heel drop as you use your momentum from the spin to raise your positioning as you attack, increasing your buoyancy.
*makes a clone*
You don't have to make a reference to buoyancy in your attack, that's merely for reference in the jutsu lol. Well, you can use it in training but in fights as most of NB doesn't know what buoyancy is in relations to the RP, it'll only cause confusion in the fights.
Yeah, I've seen people get confused by simpler concepts than buoyancy... <.<
*Running at your clone, I drop down low as I stick out my left leg, rotating on my right leg as an axis. As I spin and hit your clone, I take my right foot off the ground, extending it, while bringing my left leg in close to my body at the same time. Then, using my arms to help my roataion (by spinning my arms around my body counter-clockwise), I spin my body again 180 degrees to hit your clones mid-section with my right heel, while suspended in mid-air. Then, without hesitating, I once again switch my legs so my left leg is out while my right is near my body. Spinning my body again another 180 degrees, my extended leg acts like a helicopter propellor to push my body higher off the ground so your clone tastes my heel as it smashes into his face; a higher target than my previous kick. While suspended in mid-air, I finish my rotation so my body is square to your clone's body, my left leg past him. Then, I pull my right leg up into the air, until the muscles in my leg begin to stretch and hurt, and I bring the heel of my right foot crashing down onto the crown of your clone's skull, and also dragging myself onto the ground.*
Very nicely done. ^^ And yes, things tend to get screwed up in translation on here lol.
(Konoha Daisenpū) - Leaf Great Whirlwind
Chakra Cost: N/A
Description: This technique is a series of kicking attacks, starting from a low kick and linking into a middle kick and high kick then finishing off with a heel drop. As the rotation speed picks up the user gains buoyancy, which they use to shift into gradually higher attacks.
Remember the earlier jutsu I had you to perform where you shoulder blocked the clone? I want you to do that once more, followed up with a strong strike to the clone with your fist, sending him flying back.
