(Bunshin Kaiten Kakatou Otoshi) - Clone Spinning Hell drop
Chakra Cost: N/A
Description: A taijutsu attack done after 3 shadow clone are made. The user somersaults into the air spinning and landing a blow to the shoulder of there enemy with there heels.
Now, some jutsus can only be performed in the air. I want you to knock my clone into the air by any means that you can. Then, launch yourself into the air behind him, acting as his shadow of sorts. Tell me why this might be useful.
*Running up to your clone, as I near him I drop down to the ground, where I land on my hands, crouched down so I appear to be on all fours. Then, I spin my body in a sumersault movement, with my legs still held closely to my body, until I'm doing a handstand, directly under your clone. Then, I extend my whole body, arms, legs, back, in order to strike your clone. My whole body, which was bent to keep it close together, suddenly expands into a straight "arrow", my heels catching your clone in the chin and sending him straight up into the air. Then, I complete the sumersault and land on my feet, where I glance up to find your clone in the air. Then, I leap up after him, and twist my body so I'm directly behind him, my body being almost like a shadow of his as it floats through the air.*
"This technique is useful in that as my opponent is struck into the air, he'll be disoriented, meaning I he will have to switch his mind-set from "fighting on the ground" to "fighting in the air" before he can counter, where as I'm prepared and can strike from behind. Another good thing is that if I use this technique well enough, my opponent won't know I'm behind him, allowing me to strike while my opponent doesn't know where I am."
Yes, that's what makes it useful, the enemy wouldn't be able to see you until it is too late and it can be used as an extension to perform other jutsus. There can be a multitude of customs created from the point of the SoDL jutsu ^^
(Kage Buyō) - Shadow of the Dancing Leaf
Chakra Cost: N/A
Damage Points: 5
Description: A technique where one follows the opponent, closely matching his or her body's movement, just like a leaf that dances in the air is followed by its shadow. The technique is usually preceded by a swift upper kick that will launch the target into the air. It is mainly used to position an opponent into a vulnerable aerial position. This move by itself is harmless, but it is usable as a stepping stone for a great many powerful techniques like Front Lotus and the Lion Combo. That said, it also has a rather high degree of difficulty.
Now, another aspect to touch on, buoyancy. Buoyancy, in a nutshell, is the ability to float in water or air. A ball full of air is extremely buoyant, where a lead ball is not buoyant at all. It's because the ball of air is less dense than the water. By picking up speed from a rotation, you can increase your buoyancy, causing yourself to rise slowly as you perform the attacks, looking like how Naruto was slightly raising as he was dealing multiple blows to Sasuke in the Valley of the End battle.
I want you to attack my clone with a combination of kicks, beginning with a low kick, chaining a mid-section kick and hi kick as you spin around, ending with a heel drop as you use your momentum from the spin to raise your positioning as you attack, increasing your buoyancy.
*makes a clone*
You don't have to make a reference to buoyancy in your attack, that's merely for reference in the jutsu lol. Well, you can use it in training but in fights as most of NB doesn't know what buoyancy is in relations to the RP, it'll only cause confusion in the fights.
Yeah, I've seen people get confused by simpler concepts than buoyancy... <.<
*Running at your clone, I drop down low as I stick out my left leg, rotating on my right leg as an axis. As I spin and hit your clone, I take my right foot off the ground, extending it, while bringing my left leg in close to my body at the same time. Then, using my arms to help my roataion (by spinning my arms around my body counter-clockwise), I spin my body again 180 degrees to hit your clones mid-section with my right heel, while suspended in mid-air. Then, without hesitating, I once again switch my legs so my left leg is out while my right is near my body. Spinning my body again another 180 degrees, my extended leg acts like a helicopter propellor to push my body higher off the ground so your clone tastes my heel as it smashes into his face; a higher target than my previous kick. While suspended in mid-air, I finish my rotation so my body is square to your clone's body, my left leg past him. Then, I pull my right leg up into the air, until the muscles in my leg begin to stretch and hurt, and I bring the heel of my right foot crashing down onto the crown of your clone's skull, and also dragging myself onto the ground.*
Very nicely done. ^^ And yes, things tend to get screwed up in translation on here lol.
(Konoha Daisenpū) - Leaf Great Whirlwind
Chakra Cost: N/A
Description: This technique is a series of kicking attacks, starting from a low kick and linking into a middle kick and high kick then finishing off with a heel drop. As the rotation speed picks up the user gains buoyancy, which they use to shift into gradually higher attacks.
Remember the earlier jutsu I had you to perform where you shoulder blocked the clone? I want you to do that once more, followed up with a strong strike to the clone with your fist, sending him flying back.
*Rotating my shoulders to prepare, I take a long stance by planting my right foot far behind my left, still shoulder-width apart, bending my knees so my center of balance remains in tact. Holding my arms out to the side and crooked as if I were about to bear-hug someone, I take my right foot off the ground, pushing forwards with my left foot and swinging my right foot forward so my momentum begins to pull me towards your clone. As I run towards your clone, my left hand comes back to my side, my fist about level with my pectoral, with my palm facing up (should my clenched hand be opened), and my right hand grabs my left shoulder. As I run, my body gets low to the ground, helping my body stay close together to increase my mass and momentum for the strike. Reaching your clone, I plant my left foot just in front of him, before I bring forwards my right leg, thrusting my knee up, extending my body to put all my weight behind my extended right shoulder going straight into your clone's solar plexus from below, sending your clone into the air. Then, with my extended body slightly in the air from the force of my impact, I spin my body clockwise, extending my left arm out to hit your clone in the stomach with a powerful downward punch. As my fist makes contact, it's turned sideways (as it was upside to begin with, and I was turning it as I extended); the moment my sideways fist (so my thumb was facing up towards your clone's face instead of my knuckles as it should be) hits your clone's stomach, I twist my fist quickly to get it right as I finish the extension in one, quick movement, throwing your clone back down to the ground.*
(Rakanken) - Nirvana Fist
Description: A powerful shoulder smash followed by a strong punch.
Alright time for a little flashback, do you remember the Naruto/Kiba fight? When Naruto used the clones to attack Kiba and called it Naruto's Barrage or Uzumaki Barrage depending on if you watched the subbed or dubbed version. I want you to do that exact attack on my clone, making four clones that run out at my clone and attack him, each kicking him into the air as the real you runs and launches yourself into the air and finish with a strong kick to his face, sending him hurling back to the earth as gravity and momentum take over and cause him further damage when he hits the earth. Check the spoiler at the bottom of the page for video description if you don't understand or just want to see the technique actually used.
*Creating three clones, I send the first clone straight at your own clone, with the other three running around to get into position (so one's in front, behind, and to either side). As my first clone reaches yours from the front, he punches your clone in the face, my clone doubling over himself both to put more weight behind the punch, and to allow me to run up, step on his back, and use him to jump high into the air, doing continuous summersaults as I remain airborne. With the real me in the air, the two clones to your clone's sides kick him (in turn, not at the same time) in the kneecaps, to push him off balance. Then my clone behind kicks your clone in the back to push him forwards, most likely also causing him to start to fall, which gives my clone directly in front of yours more surface area to make contact with a kick straight up, catching your clone by the chin and sending him into the air, after the real me. As they kick, my clones say, "Shar-ing-dork". With your clone flying against his will up into the air and near the real me, I extend my right leg, making it ridged, as I continue to spin. Then, at the height of my rotation with your clone within kicking distance, I put my arms up into the air (away from the ground for a relative direction), and I bring them down in a rotation motion, my foot following the same path, to give my spin a little more momentum and power for my heel kick into your clone's face. Just before I hit your clone, I finish saying, "Ultimate Clone Barrage!"
As I land back onto one of my clone's backs, I step down onto the ground.* "How was that, Shishou?"
(Naruto Rendan) - Naruto Barrage
Description:After making 4 clones they attack with kicks that launch the foe into the sky and the original hits the enemy on the shoulder sending them flying back to the ground.
Now, remember the Shadow jutsu you just learned and how I said that it would be ideal to use? Well, I want you to perform it now, kicking my clone into the air and then appearing behind him. I'll tell you what to do from there.
*Running up to your clone, as I near him I drop down to the ground, where I land on my hands, crouched down so I appear to be on all fours. Then, I spin my body in a summersault movement, with my legs still held closely to my body, until I'm doing a handstand directly under your clone. Then, I extend my whole body, arms, legs, back, in order to strike your clone. My whole body, which was bent to keep it close together, suddenly expands into a straight "arrow", my heels catching your clone in the chin and sending him straight up into the air. Then, I complete the summersault and land on my feet, where I glance up to find your clone in the air. Then, I leap up after him, and twist my body so I'm directly behind him, my body being almost like a shadow of his as it floats through the air.*
"What now, senpai?"
Now, deal out a bombardment of kicks, using your momentum from striking to spin around and strike the other side quickly, doing so multiple times. After hitting the clone several times with several kicks, finish by dealing a powerful kick to the torso as he hits the earth, causing the damage to increase.
*Floating through the air behind your clone, I press a finger up against his back, taking a breath in preparation for the maneuver. Releasing the breath, I begin to rotate my body clockwise, extending my left leg so that as spin, using the back of your clone's shirt as a grip so that I remain at the right distance to hit him, catching your clone's side with my heel. As my foot makes contact, I continue to spin, my leg pushing myself up and above your clone so it's almost as though I'm standing on him in mid air. As I become perpendicular to your clone, I suddenly bend my left knee as I extend my right, driving my right foot down into your clone's solar plexus as I bend down. As your clone begins traveling downwards from the strike, I grab his shirt (as per my reason for bending over), and use his shirt as leverage to spin myself underneath, and then him once again towards the ground as we're traveling at the same speed. With your clone now falling towards the ground with me behind him (but above him in distance from the ground; his back is facing me), I begin to spin my body clockwise, sticking out my right leg to hit your clone in the right side. Then, I use my momentum to push myself all the way around your clone, kicking his left side as I spin as well to push myself once again above your clone. With the momentum and positioning of those kicks, your clone slowly began to spin to face upwards, at me so his back is facing the quickly approaching ground. I then spin in a pirouette-like fashion, my right leg out and coming high. Then just before your clone hits the ground, it appears as though I'm standing over him, my leg held high, an evil grin over my face. Then, I bring my foot down, my heel catching your clone in the gut, pushing him into the ground before my kick finished its full rotation/power, forcing his increasing speed to stop instantly as he hit the ground.*
"So how was that?"
(Shishi Rendan) - Lions Barrage
Chakra Cost: N/A
Description: A variant technique of the Front Lotus, It is an ultra-fast combo attack that requires an advanced physical condition and a certain knack for it. The opponent is first kicked into the air and shadowed with the Shadow of the Dancing Leaf. Upon inflicting a blow, one takes advantage of said opponent's counterattack to spin around and rise again for further assaults. Since the fall is increased in velocity with each blow, the damage when one is eventually struck to the ground is inconceivable. All variations end with the opponent being thrown to the ground and kicked in the chest.
Earlier I introduced the concepts of feints to you. Now it's time to take it a step further. There are ways to increase the chances that your feints land, such as the way one acts on the field. Pretending to be drunk is an excellent example, though getting drunk helps as well. The movements of an intoxicated person are often wild, and confusing, seemingly to change every second. By using this to your advantage, you can trick the foe into thinking your attack is coming from a different way as you change at the last minute. I consider myself a master of the Drunken Fist, going as far as to have a personal CFS based on this, called the Drunken Monkey Fist.
I want you to take the stance of the Drunken Fist, with your arms held out in front of you and your palms curved, pointing towards your torso as you wobble back and forth, looking as if you are about to fall at any moment. Then, I want you to lash out at my clone, using your drunken stature to mask the true intents of your blows, making them appear to miss and even using feints to hit 12 times.
This is literally the one taijutsu move I wanted to learn more than any other. I really enjoyed watching Lee use Drunken Fist against Kimimaro, it was one of the few fights I've gotten around to watching in the anime, and this is my favorite taijutsu move up to date. (just as a side note )
*Lifting up my right foot, I plant it firmly in front of me, both my knees bent, my hands out in front of me like normal, only my fists are so loose that my hands are actually open, positioned so my knuckles are facing outwards towards your clone and my fingers are aimed in towards myself. Bouncing on my knees, swaying back and forth, letting my wrists go limp and sway naturally with my body, I move my shoulders to pull my arms back and prepare myself for the strikes, instead of pulling my arms themselves. My eyes half-closed, I run towards your clone, my arms trailing behind myself as I run. As I near your clone, I leap into the air, my right leg crossed over my body as if it were ready to kick in a sweeping motion at your clone's head. And then I kick, spinning my leg and body around clockwise, my right leg going straight over your clone's head; a misguiding strike. As my momentum spins my body when my left foot lands on the ball of my foot, my left arm is extended, my knuckles smashing into your clone's right temple from my spin. With my arm limp as it was, the contact was more or a pre-cursor to my next move, which continued in the spin. With my right foot still extended, my spinning momentum carries me around and smashes my right heel into your clone's right knee, catching it from the side and kicking it towards your clone's left knee. As my kick hits, I appear to lose my balance, stumbling towards your clone. As I move closer, my right leg comes back, pulling your clone's knee with it, and as I appear to reach out for balance, my right hand smashes into your clone's left cheek, which combined with my leg pulling out your clone's leg, knocks him to the ground. With your clone now on the ground, I fall forwards, landing on my hands in front of your clone's head, facing away from him. I then begin to spin my legs in circles, as if I were riding an invisible bicycle, my body falling down towards your clone so that my bicycling heels smash into his chest and sternum area, once each. As my spinning feet catch on your clone's body, they propel me up into a standing position, my back to your clone. Waiting for your clone to stand back up, I spin around, my loose right hand swinging in front of my body without any real force or threat, missing your clone easily. With my eyes half-closed, and my body swaying, I fall backwards, both of my arms reaching out over my head as I fall to catch the ground just before I land, my elbows bent, ready to extend and send my straight legs into your clone's neck.*
"Hey! No, falling asleep, on the... battle ground! *hic*"
*Pretending to be drunk to fully tap into the power of the Drunken Fist, I stumble towards your clone, my right arm pulled back ready for a punch, my left hand down by my side. However, before punching with my right fist, I bring my left arm straight up suddenly, keeping it straight and extended like a pole to catch your clone off guard under the chin before releasing my right punch, catching your clone in the left shoulder. I then let down my left hand on your clone's right shoulder, grabbing onto both of his shoulders, and I push myself upwards so I'm doing a handstand on your clone, my head just above his head. I then pull myself down, preparing for the impact, and I head-butt him from my hand-stand position. After causing head-splitting pain to your clone, I let myself fall like a rag-doll onto the grass behind him, my eyes open only a sliver so that my eyelashes are close enough to conceal the fact that they're actually open, ever so slightly, making it appear as though I'm sleeping or passed out. Then, as your clone to walks over my "sleeping" form, I lift up my right leg, the toes of my foot catching your clone in the crotch and sacking him. Bicycling my feet again, I pull myself into a backflip where I land in my Drunken Fist stance again, glaring over at your clone, groaning in pain and agony. Then I run up to your clone, throwing a punch with my right hand towards his left side. However, it appears to miss, my fist travelling through the space between your clone's left arm and his body. I then lift up my right arm, bringing your clone close to me and putting his hand up as well, and spin clockwise, grabbing your clone's wrist as I do. I then bring my arm down, pulling your clone's elbow onto my shoulder so that the actual elbow makes strong contact, instead of the side which bends (so technical. ), as well as driving my elbow into your clone's gut at the same time, winding him and breaking his left arm in one motion. I then stumble away from your clone, still holding onto his wrist so as to pull him face-first onto the ground, and I spin around to face you, spinning on one foot only, leaning at such an angle that I could have fallen over easily.*

Description: This unusual taijutsu style is a unique style of combat Drunken Fist Fighters become human powerhouses who'll strike unpredictability, with no inhibitions, an explosive fury and without any second thoughts about their actions. The user can either make themselves drunk or immitate the method by use of swaying and uneven balance on their feet to attack their opponents a total of 12 variant attacks.
I want you to run at my clone and jump in the air while you spin, striking him in the face.
You're welcome. <.<
But seriously, this is like every other post in my genjutsu training thread with TSSB.
*I run at your clone, jump, and punch him.* >.>
Bending my knees with my right foot planted behind my left, I push myself forward with my left foot, sending me into a straight sprint. Running towards your clone, I get my my arms pumping back and forth; a normal running motion. As I near your clone, I leap into the air, twisting my right leg around my left to spin my body in mid-air. As my back is to your clone, I bring my right hand back in a kumi, a position where it's ready to strike at my side, just under my pectoral. As the momentum of my spin places me square-on with your clone, and the momentum from my jump brings me within punching distance, I extend my arm, with the extension, forward, and spinning momentums propelling it closer and closer to your clone, faster and with more power than any one factor alone. With my fist traveling forward with great force and speed, it collides with the bridge of your clone's nose, throwing him backwards onto the ground. As your clone is turtled on his back, I land with my feet on either side of his chest, looming over him with my arms crossed menacingly.

Description: The user jumps into the air while spinning forward, delivering a powerful punch.
Now, I want you to make a few shadow clones before we continue.
Now as we discussed earlier, shadow clones increase the amount of damage you can put out, to put it in laymen's terms. There are two things I want you to do, not all together though. First, I want you to get a grip on one of your clones legs, who in term grips another clone's legs. The easiest way to do this is by having your clones jump into the air, making the grab much easier and take less time. ASs you grab, you spin quickly, grabbing the clone and swinging them with you, creating a chain of sorts, making the clones slam into a target.
Then after doing that, I want you to have one of your clones throw you towards my clone, striking him as you rise up, hitting him with an uppercut.
Tell me, what use do shadow clones have in taijutsu battles and how these jutsus are effective?
*Looking towards my clones, all of us nod to each other to relay that we're ready. Then, taking a line formation, I jump into the air, the clone behind my jumping after me and grabbing my ankles as he does so, and the chain continuing on until my last clone is holding the chain of me while standing firmly on the ground. Then, as the chain begins to fall back to the ground, my clone who is holding us all begins to spin around, dragging the chain of me around and around in a long circle like a whip. As we spin, my clone rotates his arms so that the chain of us are now spinning in a cone-like formation as well as around in a circle (spinning on both the horizontal and vertical axes). As the chain of me spins around and around, we slowly come closer and closer to your clone, preparing to attack it. Then, as I'm at the bottom of my horizontal rotation about to be sent upwards by my momentum, the clone holding onto my ankles lets go, letting me go flying towards your clone in a diagonally forwards and upwards direction. As I reach your clone, my body is beginning to do a backflip, so I punch your clone with an uppercut to the jaw before my body spins backwards to kick him in the same spot, sending him flying up into the air. Then, for extra fun, the clone furthest out on the chain is released, as they're still spinning, up into the air, where he eventually meets with your clone mid-air. From that position, my clone punches yours in the gut, just for added effect.*
Well, if it's truly at taijutsu battle, then creating clones would be against the rules of the fight. However, using clones in close-quarters combat is very effective as it's harder to block four punches from different directions than it is to block on punch from a single direction. By increasing the number of strikes is coming towards the target, as well as the number of angles the strikes are coming from, one can effectively decrease the chance of the opponent being able to leave the battle unscarred.
However, if you're fighting any number of people on NarutoBase, they'll just pull Chidori Nagashi to hit all you and your clones at once if you do that.
