[Discussion] How strong would 8th gate Gai be?

Can 8th gate Gai beat any of the kages from past to present? Just wondering how powerful Gai would be if he risked to to go this far

8 gates give the user a power beyond kage level, but i dont think even in his 8 gates form can take on all 5 current kages, maybe 3 at tops

IMO 8 gates Gai would be able to not only fight on par with Edo Madara for a while, he would actually be able to gain the upper hand. At least until his body feels the strain.

If Naruto an Bee are down and pretty much captured and they have no hopes of winning 8th gate could help. 8th Guy could surprise Madara with a powerful attack and Madara confuses it with a Ninjutsu and gets hit by it the he is almost sealed and use Izanagi or somethin and be weakened enough for Naruto and the others to finish him. I think you forgot Edo's can be knocked out then sealed, it's far from useless.

??? your reading comprehension is terrible. the gates rejuvenates the body for a short period of time(2nd gate) so Guy being down or hurt matters little everyone knows that. Yes he will die form it what is your point? As long as it helps weaken/beat Madara then it's not useless. It's like saying Naruto and Bee were useless at helping seal Nagato because someone else did the actual sealing.
