He never gives up even when his life is on the line because he swore that he would protect anyone in danger and is in need of help. Most villages that he has saved see him as a god who descended from the heavens and came to help them in their time of need.

History :

Kyoto was born in a large, yet unknown, ninja village, just off the borders of the Land of Fire, known as, 'Ganymede'. Kyoto's father was the village head, a powerful shinobi, who was known as the Cold Murderer and he wanted Kyoto to take over when he died, even though he was still very young. His father was suffering from a disease at that period of time. Kyoto, however, was not keen on ruling the village and resembled more of his mother. She was a caring, loving woman. She always thought that Kyoto would one day become a ruler, who treated his servants and all the people of the village with respect unlike his father.

Kyoto was determined to fulfill his mother's desires but his father would not allow it because he wanted Kyoto to be a ruthless and coldblooded, a person who crushes the weak and only associates with the stronger beings. His father said that he was too soft and needed to learn how to me more cold to the lesser beings so he sent Kyoto to to live on his own, with a mission to eradicate all of the shinobis that crosses his path and develop the same nature as his father. It took Kyoto weeks to adapt to life on his own. He wandered the lands alone with to shelter until he met a kind fisherman who welcomed Kyoto to live with him. He was like a father to Kyoto and that was how Kyoto saw him, ever since the kind man had began giving him food, providing Kyoto with shelter and always cared for him, unlike his actual father who would only serve him food, if he obeyed him.

Soon Kyoto grew older and learnt new elements and abilities, whom he learnt from the ninja friends of the fisherman, that passed by. He then decided that he would take part in a tournament being held in Konohagakure, a village that was nearby. Kyoto had intentions of bringing back the prize money as a token of gratitude to the fisherman, since he was the only one who had ever cared for Kyoto, besides his mother. Kyoto improved his abilities every second, he spent on Earth. This just shows you how determined Kyoto was. Many months have passed and one of Kyoto's father's most trusted men, went searching for Kyoto. That man was also instructed to kill Kyoto for taking too long to complete the mission his father had sent him to do. It was obvious that his father was ashamed of Kyoto and didn't want him to become the village head.

Kyoto wasn't scared when he learnt of his fathers plan to kill him after being approached by the men, who were sent out to kill Kyoto. Kyoto knew that he had surpassed his father's abilities long ago during his time here, so he killed the men that his father sent but this meant that he had to leave the fisherman and his friends, or else he would have been putting all of them in danger. Kyoto said his last farewells to the fisherman and left. Kyoto was unsure of where he would go and decided to let the winds take him to where it brought him. Kyoto soon found himself in Konohagakure, a peaceful yet strong village. He believed that his father's mens couldn't follow Kyoto into Konohagakure, and he was right.

As time passed, Kyoto sharpened his ninja abilities in Konohagakure. The village had more to offer than his rural homes. They had weapons Kyoto had never seen before. More ninjas than Kyoto has ever met in his lifetime, ramen he had never tasted before. Best of all, everybody was kind, much like Kyoto's mum. While in Konohagakure, Kyoto has never forgotten about the men who were still on his tail. He was rather surprised that his father was still alive and after Kyoto. With that in mind, Kyoto never stopped training because one day, he wanted to return to his birth village and rescue it from the tyranny of his father. He believes that one day, he'll be able to face his father's entire army with his powers and then rule the village the way he wants. Kyoto had grown quite strong over the years, he was much known as the 'Abyss Master' by his friends and fellow comrades.
