Manga Coloring Contest [30] VOTING

Welcome to this month's Voting thread of the Manga Coloring Contest

Vote with your own opinion. Don't listen to what ppl are saying in the comments Vote for what u think took the most skills to do etc.

All contestants chose their own panel to color. It could be either a regular manga panel, or a lineart that someone made. Either way, the contestants have sent me the originals as well, so that you can judge whether it took skills or not to fulfill the job.

The rules are simple:
1. Do not vote for yourself.
2. Voting with multiple accounts is strictly forbidden
3. Don't tell others to vote for you, or to not vote for a specific entry! (
4. Don't flame, argue, or any form of mistreatment towards the voters, the entries, or the artists in question. I do not want any problems to happen that might ruin this competition.
5. Vote for the best entry and not the one people say is the best. Your opinion matters!
6. Refrain from leaking/specualting who made which entry, keep your opinions on the matter a secret till the poll is over, thanks

If any of the rules 1,2,3 and 6 are violated, you will be disqualified and maybe banned from the next comp! (We will know if you do)

The Voting thread will be running till the end of Nov 6 (1 week) and I wish everyone good luck in the voting!:D The winner will receive a medal/ as usual.

2nd Place gets 1 500 Kumi

I voted for entry 2 The colors blend well and the person was able to refrain from editing the actual pic too much to the point where the original and edited still look the same this person was able to focus on the colors rather then change certain parts to better go with his or her choice of palette.

Great job everyone for manga coloring, my favorite entries are entry 2 (extremely well done coloring, it almost looks like a pastel or painted coloring) and entry 4 (excellent coloring and attention to detail, the hair looks as detailed as a final fantasy characters hair excellent job)

I found colouring issues with all but one let's see if anyone else spots this.

Entry 4 has it's realism to it, but entry 2... is eye catching, bright, colours compliment each other and the shading's soft and beautiful. I love entry 2 more.

entry 2 and 4 are good
entry 2 did well in painting the hair, and if you didn't use a tablet then I'd say kudos, although it is most likely you did>_> I've been trying to achieve realistic hairs using only mouse._. its hard the problem about 4 is the shades on the face, its not as good as the hairs, if you try realistic shading, do it to the endO________O

entry 4 is well painted, good use of soft cell, it reminds me of someone>_> so I go with it, but I still commend the artist of 4

yes, its just as you say~_~ however I don't have a tablet yet, so I've been trying to find out how to achieve the same realistic hairs, with the mouse, and I actually discovered something, I can use a mouse to make sth like that, but it won't be as good as using a tablet, and it takes alot of time, probably the same time used in painting the rest other bodies can be spent drawing a hair._.

I try sometimes, but with the results that I achieve, it's best to stick to what I can do.

try using hair brushes, and pen tool, since you can simulate pressure, it'll look better>_>

Yeah, realistic coloring with a mouse is possible, although as you say very hard and it takes a very long time compared to as with a tablet or just regular anime-coloring. It's sort of a try-and-fail-till-you-finally-get-it-right sort of style with a mouse lol
Anyways, I've done a couple of good realistic colorings in my time, and I use a mouse.
