Alright.
Tell me why you want to learn Genjutsu and how you plan to use it in battle.

Re: Genjutsu with Akihiko-sensei
Um...I want to learn genjutsu because it can distract the opponent, giving me "more time to prepare my next move" or a higher chance to hit the opponent
And...I might use it to distract the opponent by making him/her see things that are not real so I can do something different of what he/she thinks I´m doing

Re: Genjutsu with Akihiko-sensei
Alright, very honest replies.
It does indeed trick your opponent, allowing you to pull off moves when they are not paying attention.
You can then counter these moves with your own. This is called cause and effect. For example, you used a Wind Jutsu to blow away the explosive tag, thus, I can follow up with a prepared fire move to disregard your Wind Jutsu, so that it overcomes it and is sent back at you two times stronger.
By taking the upper hand, you can juggle your opponent around and have them react the way you want to, as we are all forced to make moves and survive in a battle. This is most often used in chess, where it is necessary to be able to predict several moves ahead of the opponent.
Do you understand?
Now, how would you get out of a Genjutsu?
There are four major ways.

I understand ^^
Um...To get out of a genjutsu...I was told that there were three ways (according to the Genjutsu release rules ). One way is applying pain to yourself, and the other one is to have someone introduce chakra into you. (I didn´t understand the last )

Re: Genjutsu with Akihiko-sensei
There's also a jutsu that can take you out of a Genjutsu.
And how can Nagashi break you out of a Genjutsu?

You mean "Kai" or something like this? I don´t remember very well >.<
Nagashi...I think because it disrupts the spiritual energy altering the balance between physical and spiritual energies in the chakra?

Re: Genjutsu with Akihiko-sensei
Yes, good research. I will post for you Scorps' own quote on it.
The full body, full system chakra surges was never an issue or even valid until the point where it was deemed that Nagashi could be used to dispel genjutsu. The reasoning was that you'd overpower the enemy's genjutsu by forcefully "bursting" enough of your own chakra all together. Then I revamped this rule to make it more resonable and actually more logical instead of saying "nagashi can because its nagashi". While in the manga it was not shown, the fact is that Genjutsu in the RP is far more powerful and I took all that into account when revamping the rules for release and I stand by what is stated there.
Do you understand now?
Yes, it is Kai. What ranked Genjutsus can you break out of with Kai?

You are also correct.
Alright, do you know how to inflict Genjutsus on someone?

Inflict Genjutsu on someone?
Um...Disrupting the opponent´s chakra system with...eye contact, for example? o.O

Re: Genjutsu with Akihiko-sensei
No, where do you send your chakra too? How do you make me something else?

I would send my chakra into the opponent´s chakra system, manipulating my chakra to disrupt his/her chakra flow and then "control" his/her mind, alterating his/her five senses making him/her see things that seem completely realistic but are not actually there?

Re: Genjutsu with Akihiko-sensei
Exactly. You are correct.
So begin by doing that to me. Make sure you put in a lot of detail on how you manipulate my five senses.
Make me believe that I am somewhere else due to a creative illusion.

Re: Genjutsu with Akihiko-sensei
*I send my chakra into your chakra system and then I manipulate it making you see somewhere filled with volcanoes and standing next to one about to erupt. Then, I make you hear some volcanoes erupting far away while also making you feel that the air you breathe in is hot and dense. Meanwhile I make you feel that your mouth is getting dryer and dryer, and make you feel as if your hands were getting burned. *

Good. Very impressive, much more detailed than usual.
Now follow up with an attack.

What if...I make that illusion become half real? :zonder:
*Then I perform a handseal creating a cavern around you trapping you inside, leaving an opening. Then, I perform another handseal and create a stream of fire manipulating it into circles of fire flying through the air towards the cave. And right when they´re about to enter the cave, I perform another handseal creating a vortex of wind towards the cave´s opening that, after being ignited by the fire circles, it enters the cave creating a massive inferno inside the cave *

Re: Genjutsu with Akihiko-sensei
Eh, a simple move would have sufficed, but that works, I guess.
Now, this time, creative another environment which would cause me to react to it with a jutsu. Then counter my move with your own.

So how would a normal person react to all that fire?
