Shunsui Kyōraku is a tall ninja with grey eyes and long wavy brown hair. His hair is tied in a long ponytail and has long bangs that frame the left side of his face. He wears a straw hat (called a sakkat) and a pink, flowered ladies kimono, which he drapes across his shoulders and over his captain's uniform. Although his haori and obi sash are cheap, his pin-wheel hairpins are very expensive. He does not wear tabi with his sandals. He has thin facial hair around his mouth and on his cheeks. Shunsui used to only have facial hair on his upper lip area. Shunsui weilds two swords called Katen Kyōkotsu.

Personality

Shunsui is a laid back, famboyant man which is evident in his general attitude, it is very rarely he is seen without a smile on his face. Shunsui enjoys napping and drinking sake.. or chasing girls. Shunsui has a familar speech pattern often calling everyone by their first name followed by an honorific. Shunsui wrote a romance novel titled "Rose-colored Path", which runs in Sands Communication, but is very unpopular. Kyōraku does not receive a single fan letter or gift for his birthday from his readers but he is also not bothered by this at all.

Even though he is a very strong ninja he has a love for peace, always hoping to talk his way out of a fight, although he won't insult his opponent by not fighting. Although he prefers not fighting he will fight to protect his village. Shunsui always maintains his composure in battle showing respect and compliments his opponents skills in battle, he even manages to joke around with his foes. Despite being one of the strongest ninjas in the village Shunsui retains a level of humility and admits that other ninjas given time to train could surpass him.

History

Shunsui first appears during the captain's emergency meeting called by Captain-Commander Yamamoto. However he says nothing at this time, and remains silent throughout the constant bickering between his fellow officers.
Shunsui is among the first Captains to encounter the intruders. He meets up with Yasutora Sado in his division's compound. There, he gently drifts down from a second level to the ground amidst falling petals, then rises to announce his name to Chad.

After his flashy appearance Kyōraku sits down and tells Chad that he dislikes fighting and even offers him something to drink, something Chad responds to by a violent "No" because it is forbidden for minors to drink, something Kyōraku also realizes is a problem.

Chad proceeds to politely ask the captain to move out the way as he himself would also like to avoid the fight. However, despite Shunsui's humor and his dislike for combat, once Chad engages him, it is seen that he is not a mere fool, but someone not to be taken lightly. He deflects Chad’s first attack with one arm, and then proceeds to dodge all of Chad’s attacks. Trying to stop Chad from going further, he asks Chad why he continues to fight, and for what reason. Despite his attempts to stop him both through speech and action, Chad continues to come at him. Seeing his determination, Shunsui decides reluctantly to wound him, though he tells Chad that he plans to kill him, having no choice. Taking out his two swords, he watches as Chad runs towards him, then dodges Chad’s attack and slashes him.

At this time, the message that Sōsuke Aizen has been murdered arrives and Nanao informs him of this news. Taking a look at Chad, she realizes he is not dead and asks to deliver the finishing blow. Stopping her, Shunsui rationalizes that if it were indeed one of the intruders who had killed Aizen, it would then be better to keep him alive and question him instead. He then asks her to send for people from the medical Squad to heal Chad.

Later at the execution Shunsui and his best friend Ukitake prepare to stop it, this causes their leader to prepare to take them down using his speed Shunsui tells Ukitake to come with him so Yama-jiis power doesn't hurt people. Nanao, whenever Yama-jii starts to release chakra cannot handle his power so Shunsui holds her and takes her away to somewhere safe before appearing before Yama-jii again. When Yama-jii starts to use his powerful fire style Shunsui remains calm and unsheaths his swords. Before the fight starts properly though they hear that Aizen is a traitor.


When Aizen returns with his army for a final showdown, Shunsui faces off against Aizens strongest Espada ninja however the two don't fight seriously until either side have heavy losses. Starrk, the espada ninja he faces was impressed at how he could keep his hat and kimono on while dodging all his attacks. Starrk notices how Shunsui is ambidextrous and asks him why he doesn't use his second sword to which Shunsui replies that a wakizashi should only be used when it is too hard to use a tachi cannot. When Starks comrades fall in battle he begins to battle with full power, which makes Shunsui use both swords. Shunsui seems to be evenly matched for Stark until more comrades of Stark appear and injure Ukitake, Stark uses this distraction to hit Shunsui from behind. A group including Shunsuis old second in command Lisa comes to the aid of the Sand shinobi Lisa breaks off to go talk to her old leader. Lisa yells at Shunsui for resting and not staying in the battle and he compliments her on her growth as a Shinobi, she blushes and tells him to wait for her. Lisas comrades take on the battle with Stark but can't keep up with his power and when near defeat Shunsui stabs Stark through the back and then battles him to the death winning the battle with a game. Aizen soon joins the front lines and although Shunsui and other high level shinobi battle him at once, Aizen over powers them leaving them injured. Shunsui was seen later on after Aizens defeat being yelled at by Yama-Jii for loosing his captains cloak. Shunsui pulled a face and said that the cloak was only for style anyway.

Swords

Katen Kyōkotsu (- Shunsui had swords that allowed him use better powers, these swords are akin to the swords owned by the Seven swordsmen of the Mist.

• Bushōgoma- This amplifies wind attacks and evelops an enemy with tornado like intensity.
  Kageoni - Shunsui can stab his opponents shadow injuring them too or step into their shadow and appear behind them

These abilities are granted to both Shunsui and his opponent when asked why he would use these abilities he states that his swords have their own personality and likes to play games.

Shunsui has a great eye for character and can tell what a person is like as soon as he meets them. Shunsui could even tell that Aizen was hiding something.

Sword skills
Shunsui is a master at using swords in battle and can change the power of a thrust instantly to confuse his opponent. When weilding his swords Shunsui could easily shatter a barrier made by Aizen.

Hand to hand
While Shunsui has not been shown to using a lot of hand to hand combat he was able to send Chad flying with only two fingers.

Speed
Shunsui has been shown to be very fast like when he removed Nanao from the battle with Yama-Jii.

Nice bio though I think this would make a cool Samurai bio instead of a ninja one >.< I do have to point out some things in your bio that you can't have like your swords ability. Something like that needs to be made as a Custom Weapon and be submitted in the Custom Jutsu Submissions Thread and be approved. As of right now your swords can't do all of that stuff you have in your bio. Now as for your eyes being able to see what a person is hiding I don't think that is allowed unless you have the Sharingan or Byakugan.

It doesn't really matter when you're first starting out. You experiment with putting in random villages as your alliance, learn about the RP villages and find out Kiri is the best of them all. :3

anyways i think you should remove the history..yep, all of it. Replace it with some sort of creative story that'l fit into narutoverse. And the part about the Additional Information should also be tweeked a bit

As mentioned before, you need to rewrite your history. This isn't Bleach, it's Naruto, and so your history needs to be set in the Ninja World. Also, remove your specialty and all of the stuff under "Other" regarding your sword skills, close combat skills, and speed. This is your first bio without any training, so you don't currently have any specialty.
