What are Role-Playing events?
This is a new system developed in order to recreate or create Role-Playing events in the Ninja World. Events can either be canon or custom (ideas formulated by NarutoBase RPers) while promoting the idea of truly making the RP fun and enjoyable for everyone. Further rules can be found
here.
What are Canon events?
Canon events are based upon the actual events or happenings of the Naruto manga or anime and the NPCs and bosses derive directly from there. They usually follow the storyline of that section of the manga or anime.
What are Custom events?
Custom events are submitted by the members themselves and can go a variety of ways, just like any creative story. There must be a general plot that the RPers follow and the flow must be controlled in order to begin and end it properly.
What bios can be used in the events?
For custom events, both canon and personal, approved bios can be used. However, when playing canon events, only established canon bios provided can be utilized in regards to the current event that is happening.
How do I submit a Custom event?

What are NPCs?
A Non-Playable Character or NPC, sometimes known as a non-person character, in a game is any character not controlled by a player. In role-playing games, the term applies to characters controlled by the game-master. In NarutoBase, we have
two types of non-playable characters. A compiled list of staff created NPCs can be found
here.
What are Boss NPCs?
Boss NPCs are usually assigned to people participating in the RP. They are normally main characters that have special jutsu and motives in mind when participating in an event. An example would be the Third Raikage who can use jutsus that the character has learned in the manga.
What are Minion NPCs?
Minion NPCs may or may not be controlled by RPers, but are directly under the control of the Boss NPC and must follow all directions given by the boss. Such an example would be a standard member of the Inuzuka clan who can use basic jutsu in their clan.
When can I use my own bio?
There will be rules and regulations set up for various RP events, but you will get many chances to use your own bios in the RP events. For example, if there was a canon event where Tobi was attacking the Konoha village with the nine-tails, you may be able to use your own canon bio to defend against the attack.
What if I have an issue with my current battle?
If you disagree with a move your opponent or enemies made, please settle it in a gentlemanly manner through either VMs or private ways of communication. In the case that participants are unable to come to an agreement then proceed to contact a moderator or sensei. DO NOT in any case bicker or argue about a move on the battle or it will result in you being disqualified. Remember, this is not about winning but about following and enjoying the story-line created.
Where do I start?
In order to participate, head on over to the Ninja World section of the forum and check for updates and applications that will be consistently posted. Everything that you need to know should be established in different, marked threads.
Where do I make the thread once I get the approval?
Threads that consist of Event RPs should be always be made in the Ninja World forums. Do not make them anywhere else.
Who makes the thread?
Boss NPCs should always initiate the first action and thus, should always be the one to start and the thread and post.
When do minion RPiers take part of the RP?
Many of their actions are initiated or taken by directions of the boss NPCs alone. Usually, a boss NPC alone can control up to 20 Minion NPCs.
Where do events take place?
There are two main types of RP events. The first type of RP event takes place in certain villages or areas. For example, if it takes place in Konoha, then only people from Konoha may participate. The second type of RP event allows everyone to join and is usually labeled “Ninja World Wide.”
How do I RP in these events?
Role playing means exactly what it is, to role play. You should strive to act like the character you were assigned to. The easiest way is to make his motive, his desires, and his personality your own. Think of how your character would talk and act correspondingly to each of the situations you are presented. No RPer is perfect, but it’s important to have fun and try your best. Include at least some actions and personal dialogue that you believe your character would execute whenever responding in the event.
How do I become a Boss NPC?
Boss NPCs are assigned by the staff to certain RPers that have shown excellent maturity and skill in formal RP events. You can acquire fame through participating in RP events and will then be allowed to use boss NPCs of higher power in RP events.
