Thanks Cali for posting. It was pretty good chapter not great but good.

He didnt win on random Feat. It was obvious. That
1. Rufus had a weakness and could not memorize fast pace magic back to back
2. Gray dealt with Natsu fire. Im sure he can overcome lame weak, fire magic
But what struck me was the very last picture in the manga
Gray took his hat and said "Hmph.. Im not so sure you would want to remember this.. might be too embarrassing"

Hmmm I Liked the previous chapters a bit better, nonetheless it's good that Hiro never wastes too much chapters on 1 vs 1 battles
Gray's molding magic has become really artistic and I loved the reference to Natsu at the end, though he could have said it in a more wittier way.
I wonder to what the title of the next chapter refers too? And I also wonder how Hiro is going to make it all end? I mean normally FT just wins most of their battles, but if he now just makes them win one by one, then it's fairly obvious they won the Games and then there isn't a real climax of the Games. Makes you think who could potentially loose, especially when there is still a loose end between Mermaid Heel and Erza.

somehow I find this chapter a bit lame... It was obvious Gray would win, but I don't like the "how". I mean in the beginning Rufus obviously owned Gray and then out of nowhere "bang, bang, finished"...

Mavis didn't know if Gray had the ability or not, so she was relying on the power of emotions. Emotions in Fairy Tail are crucial, its probably one of the reasons why Natsu defeated String and Rogue. Gray probably started to get emotional and pumped his adrenaline up so he would be able to get stronger (and in this case, faster and making magic). Plus he too koff his shirt, which is a sign he's gonna get serious. LOL.

The fact that Mavis called the matchup bad for gray could have hinted that gray really was picked to be the leader. And so Mavis was really relieved when gray won.

Liked this chapter. Gray may be hotheaded, but he does use his head in fights, plus i'm sure the first helped figure out Rufus's weakness. Gray's ice making was awesome & it was nice to get a better handle on Rufus's magic. Next week's chapter sounds like a return to Team Rescue Lucy.
