Why didn't Garaa say that he died, rather than "almost died" ?

In the last chapter within the meeting, Garaa tells them that he "almost died". But the truth is that he died and got resurrected by the old lady. Any thoughts?

And to the side, what did Danzou mean when he said "now, tsunades time is over?" Does he think she still stand a chance?

well im not really sure why he said he almost died when he did......um maybe he just said he almost died because he didnt want to seem weak in front of the other kages...*shrugz*

and as for danzo the reason why he said that is because if all the other kages vote him to lead the in the alliance then tsunade wouldnt be able to get her title of hokage back and everything will go the way danzo has planned

Anyway, for the Danzo thing which I didn't answer. He simply means that he thinks that Tsunade's time as hokage is done, by the time she awakens, and if she awakens, it'll be too late to get her spot back. Although everyone on Tsunade's side (which consists of the greater portion of Konoha) will likely try too pull something like what happened with the 3rd and 4th hokage. The 3rd became hokage, the 4th became hokae, the 4th died and the third became hokage again. Except without actually killing Danzo.

And can you imagine the reaction of some of the Kages, if they found out their was a jutsu that could bring back the dead?
Some of them might want to steal it for themselves, and use it recklessly.

Not to mention, it makes Suna look weaker, and as the Kage summit could go either way, between war and an alliance, that's the last thing the Sand needs.
