i agree with you, ezio's parts were the best so far this one was pretty boring and not exciting at all. And the end sucked even more.

Juno wanted him to sacrifise himself to save the world and he does but her intentions were evil and that ideal to the Templars. She wants to Enslave humanity basically what the templars want and Minerva was trying to stop Desmmond from listening to her but he didnt care about what Minerva said so he listended to Juno and died at the end but the world was saved.

The templars lived on though, and i know they're more assassins out there too as shawn said in AC2

aw man . it did suck what kinda ending is that? i wanted more action in 2012 like climbing skyscrapers and using guns, this ending just put me off, there has to be a 4th series

The developers at Ubisoft never had intentions on ending the series at AC3.

No.. But AC3 was nice

the only good thing about it is that you can climb trees and sail ships, the storyline as a whole was really crap and dull, im sure they cant just end it like that?

Finished the game and if you actually go to the last checkpoints in Connor's previous home with his people, you'll talk to a man, then head to new york to witness the american's being finally free from the British. i think you'd then head to Boston (or another part of New york) and before you enter, you'll be in the Animus loading screen with a man saying to you "plant/retrive the pivots of the animus", meaning that there is a hint to a new game, seeing as how you need Desmond to continue being in the animus.
