The Three Coloured Pills are secret medicines used by the Akimichi clan. As the name suggests, there are three pills, each with a different colour. First is the green Spinach Pill (Hōrengan), next is the yellow Curry Pill (Karēgan), and last is the red Chilli Pill (Tongarashigan). By forcibly converting the body's fat reserves into chakra, each successive pill ingested gives a tremendous power boost by forcefully pushing the normal metabolism and abilities of the Akimichi clan members beyond their normal limit. However, each pill poses a great risk on the user. Forcing such process upon the body makes the user lose much of his body mass, specially all of the fat. Not only that, but, as the fat is metabolized into energy, it leaves many poisonous and toxic byproducts within the body. While in the normal rate of the metabolism, these are dealt with and eliminated before they can do any harm, in an accelerated metabolism they accumulate in high amounts before the body can expel them. This poisons the body and produces enormous physical damage. As each pill is consumed, more power is released inside the user but more damage he takes from its use.

(Horengan) Spinach Pill - The first pill and the most basic ones. Any Jounin rank Akimichi can use this and it grants the user a slightly higher physical strength (+10 to Taijutsu), speed and chakra (+5 to all Ninjutsu). After eating it, the effects last for 5 turns. Once those pass, the user is left unable to mold techniques above S-Rank for 4 turns.

(Karegan) Curry Pill - The second pill and the first one considered dangerous. Any S-Class Ninja ranked Akimichi can user it. One must have already eaten the Spinach Pill and be under its effects before eating the Curry Pill. Once eaten, the user gains another boost in strength (an additional +15 to Taijutsu), speed (user gains the speed boost equivalent to 1st gate) and chakra (an additional +10 to Ninjutsu) for another additional 4 turns. Once those pass, the user is unable to mold techniques above A-Rank for 5 turns and is left severely injured and physically limited.

(Tongarashigan) Chili Pill - The third and last pill but also the most dangerous of all. Can only be used by Sannin Rank and above Akimichi ninjas and its effects are much more drastic than those of the other 2 pills. To gain access to its power boost, the user must be under the effects of the other 2 pills, thus the enormous risk this pill comes with. The strength is increased to enormous levels (an additional +20 to Taijutsu), speed (now equivalent to 3rd Gate) and chakra (an additional +10 to Ninjutsu). While becoming insanely strong, the user also becomes utterly vulnerable. The effects of the pill are fleeting and the user has 3 turns to win, because otherwise, he loses since once the pill wears off, the user is left unable to move, barely conscious and unable to mold chakra.

Description:
This ability grants members of the Akimichi clan free control of their body's calories — which they convert into chakra in order to perform their techniques. The Akimichi developed the Three Coloured Pills for easier use of this technique, however, the use of the pills carry great risks. On the contrary, these effects are not as severe when the user performs the technique without the assistance of the pills. At the highest level of the technique, the user converts calories into chakra and releases the chakra in the shape of two large butterfly wings. In this form, the user can use some of their clan's high-level techniques, several times without experiencing fatigue or other adverse effects. The user still experiences weight loss but it isn't nearly as severe as when the pills are used. Upon activation, a brutal mass of chakra is released and boosts the users body and his skills. The user gains such a strength that his Taijutsu becomes immense. He gains +50 damage to Taijutsu and a physical strength to match Tsunade Senju, while his overall speed becomes equivalent to 3rd Gate. Not only that, but the overflow of chakra power his Ninjutsu immensely, adding +30 to damage to them. All of this can be maintained during 4 full turns. Once those end, the user is left depleted of fat and energy, unable to use his clan techniques or ninjutsu/genjutsu above B-Rank until the end of the battle. He maintains, however, full use of taijutsu. This technique is only available for Kage rank (and above) Akimichi masters and once learned, renders the use of the three colored pills, unnecessary.

Unlike the original White Zetsu, and the clones he produces, which possess incomplete bodies, they have complete faces, as well as properly defined right arms and legs. After Kabuto used Yamato to further enhance their abilities, the Zetsu clones gain small spikes that protrude from their shoulders and back. These Zetsu, however, lack the Venus fly trap-like extensions that the original had, and have what seems to be cracks all over their bodies. They also have a zig-zag pattern running from their diaphragms down to their groin, and also down each leg reminiscent of the originals' fly trap-like extensions. These serrations are later shown to be able to open in a similar manner. When the Zetsu are first depicted in coloured manga illustrations, they appear not white, but light-green. In later depictions they appear even more green in colour.

These clones have shown some level of intelligence, similar to other clones. Although they were seemingly fighting mindlessly against allied shinobi during the daytime, the clone who had transformed into Neji Hyūga using his Substitute Technique, was noticeably scared by Sakura Haruno when she threatened to beat him and showed shock when she deduced how his technique worked as well as the tactics of the Zetsu army's night assault. They were also visibly shocked and angered when they realised that Sasuke Uchiha had killed White Zetsu, whom they refer to as their original. In the anime, a clone encountered by Team Kurenai displayed the carefree and somewhat goofy attitude of its original. The anime also depicted the clones as having the memories of the original.

Description: This Technique allows the white half of Zetsu to create an exact copy of anyone it has ever touched, down to their chakra, however it will not be strong enough to fight an extended battle, so its primary purpose is for the function of a diversion. When the clone dies the appearance retains that of the person created until Zetsu releases it.

Background Info.
History:

These creatures are artificial humans created by Madara Uchiha from Hashirama's living clone, and the Demonic Statue of the Outer Path. Because of this, their DNA is very similar to that of Hashirama Senju's as noted from Shizune, and Sakura Haruno's autopsy results. Madara would later use this artificial genetic material to save the life of Obito Uchiha, replacing the destroyed portion of his right side with it.

During Obito's time with the elderly Madara, White Zetsu and a spiral-patterned Zetsu were assigned to take care of him during his rehabilitation. Later, when Rin and Kakashi were attacked by a group of Kirigakure-shinobi, the spiral-patterned Zetsu allowed Obito to "wear" his body like armour so that he could leave the cave. White Zetsu, who only had half a side, would later become one half of Zetsu, who became Obito's accomplice in Akatsuki.

Eventually, Obito created more humanoid White Zetsu in the image of the original, using the chakra of the first seven tailed beasts he had sealed within the Demonic Statue of the Outer Path. The resulting clones were then stored in a pool of water beneath the root of the living clone flower. After Kabuto Yakushi captured Yamato, he used his studies of Hashirama's DNA and Yamato to enhance the army's strength.
