Chat box?

This site has a lot of people, they should add a chat box like on all those anime sites. I think it'd be a good idea.

We can already send eachother private messages and visitor messages.
Do you mean like some type of instant messaging? If so then I doubt that will be made =/

Well maybe. But something where everyone can log in and talk random stuff. Or have there own private sections and chat. Instant messaging as you say. If that's what he's talking about that is -_-

In a way. It would be awesome! But that would take programming and coding and all that habalula. It would be an awesome consideration. I would take programming lessons just for this.

worst idea ever to me and only me, speaking for myself, u see other sites who have chat box like ********* they are no good ... all messy and u don't know whom ur talking to let along a huge fans for the base which will make it ever harder to get used to it ... it will a waste of space and time ...this is only me and sorry i wrote it that way , it's cuz im sick of it as on other sites...but even if they did it not many people will use it and if they did it will only be a matter of time.

I doubt it would be hard. Alot of sites that stream anime have them on the side.

yeah except a chatbox is paced way faster, which means that things get out of control much faster. However, I think it would be too much of a strain on the servers to make one for the whole site. Thats just speculation though...

IF there was a chat box implemented, I'd hate to be the moderator to have to sit there watching it to make sure everyone behaves.

Then don't go on a forum but on a chatbox w/e website.

As gamahiro once said about having a chatbox on a forum:

"It's like having a whore house in a church, defeats the purpose."


And fyi: Just add people to msn if you want to talk to them so badly.

The idea has come up many times and rejected. We have number of daily visitors in thousands. No need to take risks like to burden the servers (or mods ) extra.


You can always use MSN and skype etc to get connected to your friends.

Besides, there'll be too much flaming in that one chatbox for the mods to handle anyway.
