L.A. Lakers fire coach Mike Brown
After the Lakers slow start (1-4) and panicking fanbase the Lakers have decided to fire coach Mike Brown.
Read the article below for more info.
After Kobe gave him that death stare from the loss to Utah I wasn't surprised that he didn't last long after that.
Do you think it was fair or unfair? And which coach do you think the Lakers should hire?

Re: L.A. Lakers fire coach Mike Brown
From last year too? Yes perfecly fair.
He's not a good coach at all. The preseason was shit too.
That's a championship lineup, with a mediocre coach.

Well, it takes time for chemistry to grow so i would atleast gave him 30-45 games. Also preseason doesn't matter.
EDIT: shit double posted

Around 10 games isn't going to build chemistry to the point where it needs to be around playoff time. That's the regular season.
Yes, problem?

Re: L.A. Lakers fire coach Mike Brown
Im not saying that its going to be built in preseason, but thats where it starts. Extra games to get back in rhythm and build chemistry.
Heat fan before 2011?

That's true somewhat, he did get benefits. But he wasn't like a owner, if he was, he would probably gotten actual help.

I know but the regular season is where you really build chemistry because the games count.
Why would you think i'm a Heat fan? You shouldn't be quick to judge.

Re: L.A. Lakers fire coach Mike Brown
I think it's perfectly fair, brown isn't a good head coach, and chemistry or not, with the 3rd and 4th best players in the MBA on the court 1-4 is unacceptable, it's a big city with a huge history, accepting the job means he knows with failure he'll get fired.
P.s. if some things look weird I typed this on my phone

To quick IMO, they could've at least gave him 30 games to see what happens. Team might get Phil Jackson back

You need to be more clear, what trades/free agency specifically did LeBron accepted or rejected since you say he was like a owner?
And no, he wasn't like a owner, if he was, when the Cavs had a opportunity to get Amare via trade (which LeBron had no problem with) with the Suns, it would of probably been a successful trade. But the actual owner/management didn't want to include J.J. Hickson in the deal which is a decision I know they probably regret. LeBron along with any other superstar/player and even logical fans would of made that move, but the retarded Cavs management didn't.
On Topic: Watching ESPN and they are saying Phil Jackson and Mike D'Antoni are leading candidates for the head coaching position.

It's true that playing for an organization like the Lakers comes with higher standards, but he should of gotten more time then 5 games of 82. I agree he is not the best of coaches but their lack of chemistry was expected (from people who actually know basketball) due to the fact that they have 2 new starters who are essential for their success, and one of those players is currently injured (Nash). Also they have gotten some new players for their bench so you add that to the equation 5 games in is a little too soon to fire him imo.

I agree. Phil will be a huge pickup, although I thought they should of gave Brian Shaw the position when Phil retired.
