the director stated it won't be like the book cause it be impossible to make a movie of it, you'd need a tv series to express the content in the book.... he just used the title is all

and i'm a fan of all things zombie so i'm gonna give it a chance, plus i like brad pitt lol :D

The fact that the director acknowledged that its intentionally not like the book only confirms its going to be crap. The director pretty much just said "we only used the name as a cash cow". I hate it when Hollywood does that, it shows that they're not confident in their half assed movies and need a fail-safe to bring in money. Its the same thing with 3D as well.

there zombies!! just the first trailer tho.... might get a closer look at them in the trailers to come.... i got a feeling it's gonna be like the 28 days/weeks films where it's more of a virus zombie instead of an undead zombie lol

I'm serious given the fact it is one of them random family survives an apocalypse crap and to add to the s*** Brad Pitt is playing the guy who is not your every day father, and wtf is with "oh noes are multi billion dollar military equipment can't handle against crazy zombie people who run at us head on" come on, seriously? At least try and put a little realism into the movie ffs.
