Honestly, I love the books. Have them all and read them loads of times. But the movies ruined it 4me.
I hate Kristen Stewart as Bella. She cannot act in my opinion. I can still tolerate Robert Pattinson but not her!

I liked the books, I indeed did not like the sparkling, I mean wtf! Also a few things didn't compute for me. Why/How does a vampire who has lived for centuries fall in love with a teenage girl... it doesn't make sense to me. It's sick on a level.

Why do these vampires go to school, it can't be for the education, they don't befriend any humans, so it's not for the company...it again, makes no sense...completely none. Other than that, I enjoyed the love story, and the near fight between them and the Volturi.

I don't like the movies. Stewart can't act. Patterson can barely act. The directors are idiots.

Everyone has the right to their own opinions. So if some doesn't like Twilight, they have that right. I do agree that many go over the line, and love labelling people who do like Twilight pussies and downright retarded (that's BS) but you can't argue with an a**, it's a lesson in futility.

Twilight is the worst book I've ever read in my entire life. Worse than Dr. Seuss or even Curious George. It's a poorly rendered story about a suicidal odd ball teenage girl who falls in love with the dead guy over the much more appropriate living guy who just so happens to be a skin walker, are you fukking kidding me?
At least Anne Rice gave her vampires a history and a mythos that added to the plot and progression of the characters, twilight was simply thrown together by some house wife who was obviously an amateur to say the least.
Anyone (including my girlfriend unfortunately) who says those books are good is a freaking mentally inept troglodyte.
BTW, Lestat would destroy that fukker Edward... Sparkling in the sun light... WTF!

i never really was a fan of Twilight. I disliked it, not because of the crazed fangirls and the hype about it, it's just the first time the first book came out, I read it then I read new moon and eclipse and then breaking dawn. I disliked the fourth book. The movies are dull, and boring. i don't hate it though. I remember actually being the first girl in my school to actually read the book, I saw it as just a normal book, then the whole school went all crazy, and started to read it. I like it but I don't favor it.

I can honestly say that I've read all the books, and they were okay at best. Then the movies came around. I used to rage about them, but now I no longer see the point. That's my opinion though. I've really stopped bashing people who like Twilight. I myself will never like Twilight. Sorry.

All the books are mediocre .
It was just a dense sappy love story .
The main characters have no depth to them , the story was oh so boring, and easily predicted .
Also, it ruined Bram Stroke's Dracula and made vampires seem more like sparkly faeries than actual monster-like begins .
I mean vampires that don't suck human blood ? Really?
I've read fanfictions that are better than that .

There's one more thing I don't like at how vampires are represented in Twilight, except being emo and glowing in the sun. It makes no sense that vampires just created are much stronger than the ones that have been around for centuries. It should've been the opposite. Elder vampires are so weak that anyone can just run up to them and take their head off.

I don't like it because the characters are unlikable, flat and one-dimensional; Kristen Stewart's character is completely just.. stupid. The story doesn't develop very well at all and in the end, it's just strange. As for the reason I think most people dislike it though is because it's so popular when it doesn't have any qualities of a well developed story/plot.
