Sasuke had the same stamina as Kakashi when he fought Itachi, and yet Itachi outlasted Sasuke by a significant margin.

Sasuke may be had more chakra, but the only fact to use CS takes a lot of chakra and reduce his stamina greatly so that he can't fight for too long with it like we've seen in part1, plus the fact he needed to conserv some chakra to contain Orochimaru in his body. So overall eventhough Sasuke had more chakra from the start, CS and containing Orochimaru made the thing harder. So normally Sasuke without CS or Orochimaru could fight much more longer

Btw, i think databook states that Sasuke has more chakra than Kakashi

I think it was Kabuto dreaming in Izanami, Itachi didn't used that jutsu actually

Great thread, that was an interesting read. I think Kakashi has been potrayed as a better on the fly tactician, while Itachi is significantly superior in genjutsu.

But Kakashi is probably slightly stronger at this point in the manga; I'm not too suprised, he was the sensei of the Naruto and Sasuke. Son of the white fang. Minato was his sensei, and Kakashi is one of therelevant/ main characters. It only makes sense for him to be stronger at this point in the manga.

Back to topic:kakashi still cant beat itachi. Even so it would still be a good fight(itachi high diff) because when those two fight insead of charging in like idiots they plan ahead extensively making the fight appear to be like a game of chess.(a game kakashi won due to having more pieces last time they clashed)

Yeah, I agree.
Kakashi can keep up with Itachi but he must be very careful. Itachi is genius and his ways of cathing to the Genjutsu is very impressive..

In part kakkashi was able to beat him bcoz he was not real Itachi and he can't use Mangekyosharingan at that time.So your argument has no validity.
