So Who Isn't a Genius in Naruto

I think people misinterpreted the title of thread, I was sarcastically saying who isn't a genius dice so many characters have been called a genius in their own right. Also, I wanted to point of that rarely (if ever) has anyone been called a genius based of their intelligence, mostly regarding their feats. Therefore, I wanted to point out how it's pointless to throw out there who's been called a genius in the series as it pretty doesn't relate to how we interpret it in our threads.

Sakura.

The reason I believe this is the lack of personal growth. Still struggling with the same demons from her past. Sure she has medical support techniques but she cannot grow out of her shell and become something more. While everyone else is moving on she squats on the past.

Well you have three categories:

1)Those who are mentally gifted - these peoeple excel when it comes to cognitive ability like strategical/tactical planning along with knowledge in general

2)Those who are physically gifted - these people excel when it comes to physical strength, and stamina

3)and those who are both - these people tend to grasp things both physically and mentally much quicker than most and are able to utilize it in combat with great efficiency, though sometimes not as much as one who excels in one category.

Examples of people gifted in each category:

Physically: Naruto, Lee, Gai, Jiraiya, Nagato, Kisame

Mentally: Sakura, Shino, Tsunade, Orochimaru, Kabuto, Sasori, Shikamaru, Shikaku

Both: Minato, Itachi, Sasuke, Neji, Kakashi, Hiruzen, Madara

Shouldn't Tsunade also be in the both category since she is physically strong and has good stamina as well. Yet you put people like Kakashi, Itachi, Hiruzen who don't have that great of a stamina. Your list is kind of messed up. Also how is Nagato a physical genius when he is crippled? Where would you put the Sand Siblings? You should also place Kiba in the physical section as he is a genius when it comes to fang over fang and animal instincts. One last thing, Neji only has average intelligence, from data book not my personal opinion:P.

Well he was credited for being one of the top students in part one, which they advised her to consider genjutsu (I sure this wasn't my own personal dream).

you got it all wrong. tsunade I can change to both, but the others would stay the same.

The physical area include those who are proficient in combat, which includes Itachi, Kakashi, and hiruzen are. Nagato happens to have tons of stamina, plus he had to work at those techniques originally in order to become proficient with them.

Temari - both. She is considered to be very smart and analytical while also being able to wield her large fan and fight against fairly strong opponents

Kankuro - mental. Because he relies on puppets, his physical ability leaves much to be desired, but he makes up for it by devising very clever plan to fool his opponent and using hidden traps to catch them off guard

Gaara - mental. While he does have lots of stamina, he doesn't use it to physically attack his opponents, relying more on the use of his sand to both attack, defend, and even maneuver him around the battlefield.

Kiba, while good in combat, is more of a sensor and relies more on his sensory ability combined with collaboration techniques with akamaru to be successful in combat.

Just because someone has "average" intellect doesn't mean that he isn't a genius. Actually, Neji is a very fast learner, able to recreate the main family's most powerful jutsus from observation alone. He is also very analytical, using his byakugan to the fullest to help him keep an eye on his opponent at all times while being able to come up with plans to counter his opponents abilities like he did with kidomaru and Kisame. He is very proficient in the gentle fist at a young as due to his natural talent, making him a taijutsu virtuoso and formidable in CQC.

eventhough now he has the most powerful form.. He still cannot use it optimumly .. he still fight like he did when he was in the ninja academy.. with brute and force..

Lets put his place with any characters ( chioji, shikamru, ino or anyone) . Did they perform like Naruto . I bet not..
others were able to perform in optimum even they only posses weak jutsu or tech.. and if they where switch with Naruto place right now i think that They can perform better..

we can see awesome things done using KM, BM, SM mode..

You forget there are two kinds of elite, the hard-working types and the natural born geniuses.

Natural born: Sasuke, Minato, Itachi, Minato, Kakashi, neji

Hard working: Naruto, Lee, obito, nagato without the rinnegan he would be nothing plus it was not naturally his he had to suffer and work to become that good with it

and minato was born with rasengan? Or was kakashi born with sharingan please these two worked hard... Sasuke, itachi, neji and hinata are idiots who born in comfort zone but stupidly let others surpassed them...

Kakashi was long dead - Naruto Defeated the Animal path by restricting their eyesight .

he Worked out that the eyes were connected so that was how he beat the Naraka Path

Pain was not able to use his abilities for 5 minutes of the fight

then he started to Spam Shinra tensei - Kurama saved him , but it is like Saying - Susanoo Saved Madara ......

Naruto needed that power to defeat pain , No one cept maybe for obito was On par with Pain at that moment

Whilst i agree that the term genius has been brandished by either teacher's who hail their 'prized' student or those who knew a character i believe you underestimate lee or do not understand what kakashi means.

Every character is a genius in their own right, yes even A. The ability to use raiton armour is something that takes quiet abit of skill/intelligence.

Anyway what kakashi was basically saying is that the ability to open the 8 gates is something that not many ninja's can achieve (including him, he was only able to achieve the first gate) and lee at such a young age can open 5.

There are many forms of genius, btw. Tbh the term genius in the series is too vague.
People like shikamaru/sakura are geniuses when it comes to class room exam's, etc. However people like sasuke who is also bright when it comes to class room exam's isnt as bright as shika/sakura however his genius lies in his talent for anything combat related

Omg did you read what I said?! I was pointing out that many shinobi have been pointed out as being a genius, but for different reasons. Therefore, when comparing true intelligence it's basically pointless, as most shinobi are geniuses in their own right.
