So I know that the Tags allow Minato to teleport anywhere without being undetected for the most part. But I don't understand why they consider that speed. he is just teleporting he's not running Whatsoever.

I'm not saying that he's not fast alone but I'm saying that Without that special tag he wouldn't be as fast or as good. So I feel like he shouldn't be labeled as the fastest when he's using items to make a move from one place to another. Technically It's not speed but simply popping from one place to another instantaneously like gokus instant transmission.

So after saying that who do you think is the fastest without having to use anything just simply raw power and speed and gates doesn't count because of the fact that eight gates is an aid on moveing faster its not their actual speed.

I'd rep you if I could lol. His natural speed is said to Rival A's with electricity enhanced. He is faster then A without FTG. I think C or Darui states that Minato is just as fast during Sasuke vs the raikage.

But in the fight never showed him use real speed.. he only used is FTG

i think it was his real speed when he saved naruto from obito

i didn't see any seals on naruto or his blanket
obito putting the explosive tags on naruto's blanket forced him then to use the ftg

In this case, Minato is the fastest because he can get from one point to another instantly as long as there is a seal marker.
